When I read some of the reviews about the hotel, I started to panic that we were going to end up in a dump, but after the initial shock of how basic the rooms were, I started to calm down! Fair enough, I will agree, the rooms are basic but they are cleaned everyday, and you can hire fans, or buy them in one of the shops up the road, for about 20 euros! Not that bad! The Location is what you pay for, and there is a 24 hour bar at the hotel which serves great food! The man behind the bar was a top bloke! It takes a couple of minutes to get to the clubs! Although, the better ones are further up the road, but you've got some lovely places to eat right near the hotel, like the Red Lion! Great food, like an english pub! Also the owner of the hotel also owns a bar called Mambo, where you get free drinks and shots if your satying at the hotel, plus it plays cheesy music like ghostbusters, which was such a laugh! It is just past Camelot and opposite Factory and Liquid! I have to say, that if I did go back to Malia, I probably would stay there again! I didn't trust getting a safety deposit box though, so I kept my money with me! Also if you decide to go for a late night swim in the sea, be careful, as two of my friends had their wallets stolen off the beach, and also one of their trainers lol! Appartently it happens all the time! So be Careful! But All in all great place to stay! Oh yes... The pool is very small, and the slide is never open! But it doesn't really matter as you have got the beach 2 seconds away, with water sports, and also a little island you can swim out to! Brilliant!
