I couldn't have asked for more on this holiday, and 1 week at the Dimitris Apartments in Sidari wasn't long enough! The Apartments are on a road, which can be slightly busy, although there are trees to give privacy, and you can't hear anything in the apartments anyway. The road is totally dead at night! It can be scary walking down the long road back to the apartments at night, as there are not many lights.
The owners and their oldest son are very welcoming, and they really make you feel at home. There are stairs to the bottom apartments, so they are not really suitable for people who may have trouble with more than a single step up (about 4 to 5 steps up).
For eating, I'd recommend The Rooftop Taverna. Go to The Sunset Beach - 18 Euros for a taxi (return) from Dimitris, and well worth it, as it is about an hours walk, if not more.
I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone going to Sidari!

As we passed through Sidari, I was very disappointed. It was too big and brash for me and I thought we had made a terrible mistake. However Dimitris apartments changed my opinion. It is in the middle of a field, with countyside all around, very peaceful and picturesque. Ideal for those looking for a relaxing break. You can of course walk into Sidari, it's about a half hour walk, and there are tavernas along the way. There is a supermarket a few yards along the road. We enjoy walking, and discovered lots of nice places to walk to.
