Socrates Apartments

This was a cheap n cheerful holiday for us last minute booking and for what we paid, couldn't grumble. Apartment was basic, could of done with a toaster, but as soon as you stepped out, it was the restaurant, a choice of TWO beaches or shops n restaurants round the corner. This was our first time to Corfu I do think next time we ll go earlier in the year, not October again, although we were lucky for the dry weather we had, and I would also consider a prettier part of Corfu to stay in .

The Socrates Apartments in Sidari is the best place I have ever been on holiday and I've travelled quite a bit. As soon as we arrived in our studio, there was a bottle of wine waiting for us and the fridge was filled, at no extra cost, a very pleasant surprise indeed. The staff are overwhelmingly pleasant and will bend over backwards to please you! The Rock Restaurant which is part of the Socrates was absolutely fantastic food, we found ourselves eating there every night after trying a few other places as the food was delicious and not expensive either, all the waiters there are really friendly and funny too. The pool is absolutely crystal clear and is cleaned every single night! The view you get is fantastic. The bar is great and the staff behind the bar make fantastic cocktails. I cannot praise this place enough, its the best ever and we are definitely going back as soon as we can afford it. We loved it that much that we nearly cried when we had to come home. 100 out of 10!!!

This was the best holiday I have been on. The Socrates Apartments was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool area was always clean and tidy. The food and service was great. The staff are so friendly and I would defintely go back next year again.
