The location is no more than a giant warehouse- it has an empty feel and no heart -no spirit and the security aspect was like the gestapo in 1945 the stench of stigma was terrible only surpassed by the stale lingering stench of urine in the toilets, the limited choice in the duty free you will also have your DNA taken , without your consent these are serious issues but in the meantime stay well way The one nice aspect was the staff who were not irish they were most kind and friendly.

Cork Airport is a new airport terminal that while it matches up with everything required for a 21st century building - the front of which looks very similar to London Stansted airport - Overall efficient and easy to get around with minimum delays.

Helpful staff with a good amount of shops and eating facilities and security moves at a good speed. I do like Cork airport because the flights are good, the staff are good and the shops and eating facilities are good.

Brilliant airlines such as Aer Arann, Aer Lingus, bmibaby, Ryanair, Wizzair and Many more, flying to great destinations.
Security moved about 10 minutes faster than it did at Shannon.
There's a good amount of shops and restaurants and the terminal building is very clean!

Bland and following the generic type of glass and steel design not having a viewing area made me so mad as I love seeing the planes while waiting to collect people there.

Cork airport is a very nice very clean little southern Irish airport. Aer Lingus, Aer Arann, British Airways, BMI, Futura, Ryanair, bmi baby and other such airlines fly in here from a lot of good central European destinations.
Cork is getting a brand new terminal at the moment and traffic is a bit chaotic. Aer Lingus and Servisair are the main handling agents in Cork. Both but particularly Aer Lingus do a great job!
Bus services to the airport are very good as are the restaurants and viewing areas.
Visit Cork for the European capital of culture year!
