Le Meridien Limassol Spa and Resort

From the moment we arrived at Le Meridien Hotel to the time we left we were treated to a wonderful holiday experience. First impressions from the welcoming reception staff to the cool flannels and fresh orange juice after a late flight started us off very well.

Our sea-view room was beautifully appointed with a splendid view over the resort and sea. We were welcomed in the room with complimentary red wine, water and a selection of fruits.

There was an excellent choice of pools with an adult only pool and several sunbed positions to choose from too. The sunbeds had deep comfortable cushions and well placed parasols which the attentive lifeguards were quick to reposition whenever you asked. They were also ready to replace your towels and generally helpful. The poolbar staff were also very pleasant and attentive without being over bearing. The cocktails were very moreish and the sandwiches and salads delicious. The sea was warm and shelved safely and there were also ample sunbeds available should you want to sunbathe on the beach.

Our package included half board which was presented buffet style in the Le Fleurie restaurant. There was a great choice including BBQ, Cypriot, Russian, Asian, Italian and International menus. I can honestly say the food was all of the highest quality and the waiters and waitresses very friendly and attentive.

I also had a spa treatment and found the experience very relaxing and calming which is exactly what I wanted. The staff were all very friendly and discreet.

We were very fortunate to have glorious sunshine every day and cannot fault our stay. We would definitely return in the future and recommend it to our family and friends.

The Le Meridien Limassol Spa and Resort is a a self contained resort that we were recommended to because of the excellent children's club. The hotel setting is spectacular right on the beach with about 6 different outdoor pools. I would recommend it to everyone with young kids who want to have someone keep their children occupied for a few hours every day whilst they relax. Our two young girls (5 and 3) loved the hotel and really enjoyed the excellent penguin club, so we had a great time!! The many hotel restaurants were all superb. On the downside it is a 15 minute ride from Limmassol centre, but there is a free bus service.
