“Age restrictions for safe jewellery designer site !!!”

Recently first time I bought android (Moto G) through them for 2 year contract. First it works well because I am mostly working at home on wifi signal. I have exactly the same problem since renewing my contract in Dec. Reception used to be ok.
Customer Service is a joke....no common sense and obviously replying from a script of answers without addressing the real problem. Tesco shop tried to help but ran into the same stubborn attitude. Don't use Tesco Mobile.

I've been with tesco for 2 years on an iphone with 2 separate sim cards, and the coverage on both has been terrible. It would be reasonable to assume that it was better or at least working in built up areas but it doesn't work within a lot of London, Manchester, and in smaller towns you're lucky to be able to contact the customer centre to change it. “"Free credit" offer not honoured + they control phonebook”

This was a cheapo pay-as-you-go phone that I bought as a temporary standby phone. I only went to Tesco due to their 'triple your credit' offer. The extra credit was did not appear within their 48 hour maximum limit, thus constituting a breach of contract, as far as I know, as I chose the Tesco network based on this promise. I moved to tesco mobile one week ago from vodafone. They sent me a sim card as they said and it was all fine until it was time to move my old number from vodafone to tesco mobile. That is when it became a nightmare. The whole process was supposed to happen last friday by 6pm and when I checked nothing seemed to work on friday night, so I called them from my friend's phone and they apologised and said there was a backlog and that my transfer should go through in the next 24hrs. I have had similar problems. Got the phone as a Christmas present and on 31st December got pac code from Orange who had been brilliant all the time I was with them. Phoned code through to Tesco mobile on lst Jan and advised to switch phone off between 8 and 10am on 3rd Jan and back on after 6pm, Did this at 9pm but number not transferred. Phoned 4th Jan and explained whole thing again and went to store to see if they could help - which they couldn't. Called again at 8.0pm that evening and advised would get a call back. Nothing. Tried phone next morning and phone was working. 10 mins later advised needed top-up but phone was on a contract. So another phone call and spoke to further 2 people and advised would be given £10 credit to see me over to Monday when it would be sorted. Today no mobile network. Another phone call/explanation and advised it would be sorted out next Thursday!! Meantime I have no mobile phone. Found this out when my car broken down this morning in the middle of nowhere. Wouldn't advise anyone to use Tesco.
At least 5 visits to store and 5 phone calls.

4/5 DAYS OF NO NETWORK, texts come through now & again, 4 people i know had this also. When i phoned customer services i was shocked to hear that according to them i was able to make calls, they offered me NO COMPENSATION on my bill. when i was with 02 they would give free minuites as compensation. “Cutting off the phone.”

With today's Recession you would think company's would have a understanding for the people, if you are behind on a bill for a company and you ring up to tell them you can't pay it for another 3 days they usually say that's fine. Tesco have no understanding and cut you off without a care. For that attitude in today's economy i will not be renewing my contract with Tesco mobile. “Tesco use 02 network.. it's terrible.”

It all started well and was happy with my deal. Customer services were very good. After a while I started having problems with the network and had trouble with getting a signal and calls dropping. I had great difficulty getting on the internet as it would not connect and was so slow. “Tesco - cheap but you get what you pay for !!”

Don't offer call forwarding so you cannot set up diverts to other numbers. They restrict calling to forwarding services to so international providers may be excluded from you incusive minutes. There is also no option when listerning to a voice mail to call them back. You have to get the details of the person calling and then dial it in yourself. This is not safe for "Hands free" car kits! “Faulty Phones”

It seems you get what you pay for, Tesco may be cheap but if your phone fails even under warranty the replacement/repair service is rubbish. They have had my Blackberry Bold for 2 weeks and they called to say they are waiting for replacement parts but could give no idea of how long this might take, although the maximum is 28 days before sending out a new phone. “Good when it works... useless customer care!”

They decided to suspend my pay monthly service because of security problems. I moved and consequently changed my home address with my bank. They didn't contact me. They instead waited for me to ask them why my phone service stopped working. Apparently, in their words, "it's your responsibility to phone us". So after I called, they couldn't even sort it out. Tesco has lack of communications and deficiency among shop and customer care centre. Staff in shop unaware of rules and are unable to deal with problems. They are not flexible to meet the needs of customers. Unlike Asda, tesco seems to be interested only in profit.
