I ended up having this unit as an exchange from a Pioneer that went belly-up after 4 months of use - at a total of 10 movies being played. If I had been the wiser I would have bought the Wharfedale unit first off, although I do not like the silver finish, give me good 'ol black any day, The unit is extremely easy to use, the layout straight-forward, hook up your chosen connection method, be it SCART/Composite/RF/etc and pop your disk in! It's multi-zone out the box - until you hit a Region 4 disc and it pops "INCORRECT REGION CODE" at you, but that's an easy fix with the remote (that has only happened once out of about 759 various region coded movies that we have).
The only gripe I had was that I found the audio output volume could have been set a little higher, one has to crank up the volume quite a bit, leading to a wake up call when you switch back to TV :)
It's PAL/NTSC selectable from the remote control which has everything and then some on it too, I just find the buttons a bit too positive on the remote, but I would say if you can find one - buy it as a player they don't come any better!
