Tried to order a Baumatic hob listed at 205.50 including delivery.

Could not find a way to complete so phoned Miller Bros to be told the price had gone up as it changes on a daily basis, and that the quoted price could not be honoured. Not very impressd. I will not be using them again.
Ordered An Oven, Over A Month Later After Numerous
Ordered an oven, over a month later after numerous updates informed us it was no longer available. The new model was out and identical but £200 more - they refused to even give a slight discount off the new model. Refund is awaited, in meantime we're 6 weeks without our money or an oven.
I recommend that you avoid. Go to Comet!
I Ordered A Seven Hundred Pound Lofra Cooker From
I ordered a seven hundred pound Lofra cooker from the Miller Brothers store in Stockport. The delivery came Saturday morning. The cooker was incomplete as they had not delivered the glass lid, and to make matters worse, my wife took the delivery and was asked for a £15 delivery charge from the driver, which she paid.
I had already paid the charge when I ordered the cooker.
So, I rang the store, explained the situation to first the sales assistant, then the manager.
They told me that as the company had recently gone into administration, to get my fifteen pounds back I would have to contact the administrators. I told them that as THEY had taken my fifteen pounds THEY should be responsible for repaying the charge.
Their attitude was abysmal, and ultimately they would not change the line "you'll have to contact the administrators".
The phone call, on an 0870 number by the way, lasted about an hour.
With regards to the missing glass lid... The manager argued with me that the cookers on display didn't have glass lids, so why should mine.
I explained to him that in the Lofra brochure it states "all cookers come with glass lids". To this he replied "I've only been here two months, so I don't know".
To date I've still not got my fifteen pounds back, nor have I got my glass lid. All this hassle for a cooker that was about twenty pounds cheaper than elsewhere.
Ordered A Fridge Freezer In Stainless Steel From
Ordered a Fridge Freezer in Stainless Steel from Miller Brothers. The store confirmed that it was Stainless. After 3 weeks it was delivered. It was not stainless...it was silver. We called them... they said that we can return it.. at our expense, and they would look into it and call us back tomorrow. 2 days later they still have not called back, and the silver fridge freezer is still in the box in the hallway. Only use miller brothers if you want (1) POOR SERVICE (2) THE WRONG PRODUCT.. .. After 75 years in the business these people still do not know what they are doing. Either their policy is stupid, or the people there are... I dont know which. Still, I'm stuck with this 6" box wih a silver fridge in it.... That is until I smash it into little pieces and send it back to them bit by bit.

I Phoned Up Miller Brothers To Buy A Washing Machi
I phoned up Miller Brothers to buy a washing machine. I told the person on the phone that I'd seen one on the net at Currys that I liked. I was asked if the washing machine had to be a certain type, and I said no. He told me they had got one in that suited me, and he saved me money.
I would shop at Miller Brothers often if there's something I specifically want.

We Were Disgusted With The Service At Miller Broth
We were disgusted with the service at Miller Brothers! We had to wait until the assistant had finished listening to a track on a stereo before she would serve us, and then we were spoken to in a very insulting manner by a sales assistant, while we were asking for advice. Other sales assistants found the boorish manner clever and laughed, resulting in a humiliating experience. I left without making a purchase.
The doorway outside was later blocked by staff members having a break, resulting in passers-by having to walk on the roadway to get passed.

Miller Brothers - As Comet Were Charging £70
Miller Brothers - As Comet were charging £70 more than their website for a JVC TV and recorder package in the store, and the staff were useless, I went next door to Miller Brothers. A very knowledgeable man showed us the same package for £20 less than Comet's website, even accounting for the £20 delivery. Only difference is we didn't get the free handheld TV which you do at Comet, but we didn't want that anyway.
