The "retro" look of the Yamaha Venture makes it stand out even in a row of nice cruisers. There are few touring bikes that can pull of this "cruiser" look while still having all the perks of a touring bike. While the chirp from the engine bothers some people, you get used to it, and the factory radio covers it nicely. The radio volume automatically adjusts based on the speed you are traveling, so as engine and wind noise increases, so does the radio volume. Too many excellent features to list... bottom line, this bike is the best bang for the buck for an all around tourer that looks good sitting alongside cruisers once you get where you're going.

My 2008 Yamaha Venture MM Limited is a perfect tourer if you like a cruiser set up. I owned two Royal Star Tour Deluxe bikes which are the cruiser version of the Venture. They were extremely good bikes and the Venture is much better. I bought it after comparing it first hand against the Gold Wing and have NO regrets. The cruise control should be standard on all bikes. It works just like your car and adds greatly to the overall comfort of the ride. The 97 horsepower four-cylinder engine is based on the Yamaha V Max and is powerful and reliable. And just for good measure, it has a five year unlimited mileage factory warranty.

The Yamaha Venture MM Limited is a big, heavy tourer that's not for everyone. If you're looking for a touring bike that isn't a Harley or a Wing, there are few choices left. This is a great bike!
