Yes, you can lug this around from place to place. Seems strong - it's made of a plastic canvas-like material. Made by small firm in Bridlington - good to deal with.

I ordered the RHB Composter direct from the manufacturer (I had seen the review in Garden news february 2003), after trying to obtain one from my local garden centre (which they didn't stock, and had never heard of it). Although the company didn't accept credit/debit card payments, the old fashioned "sending a cheque" was acceptable. After leaving it a few days to allow the cheque to arrive my composter arrived by post (yes the postman!! Can't imagine that with a solid bin. I opened the packaging and assembled it (just a case of unfolding it and putting two green bands in slots provided) I couldn't believe such a large (280 litres) and versatile compost bin could be so light and delivered in this way. The big plus feature is the fact it has a base, you can use this for hot composting and cool composting, by moving the whole bin to sunny parts or shaded parts of the garden. I've recommended this to my friends, and can't believe that this product isn't in every garden centre! For £15 plus postage this has to be the best value for money item I have ever bought for my garden!

I think the company has a website, but I don't have the address to hand, well worth a look in my honest opinion.
