I am new to fake tanning, so gave this a go on the basis that previous Garnier products I have used have been great. This however was not. I put one coat on, followed by another ten minutes later (as I wanted a nice rich colour). I was ridiculously sticky for about ten hours and the smell was god awful. I showered about 10pm having put it on at 1pm simply to get rid of the smell as best as I could, I am now a streaky mess. It ran everywhere, and I am left with a smelly patchy orange body. Beautiful... not! Others may have more success, but I won't be using it again. It's day 4 and the smell is only just going. Not happy!

I bought this the other day as they didn't have my usual self tan. looked like a decent sized spray bottle so grabbed it as i was in a rush. put it on when i got in slept in it and there was hardly any color difference. applied again that nite and only a slight difference in the colour. the thing i am most annoyed about it i payed 10.99 for it and only got 2 full body applications out of the can. would not buy again as 2 body applications is not worth that amount of money.

They should have never changed from the original. The original make of Ambre Solair was much better than the new formula. The only thing better about the new one is its fragrance. The old one went on almost like an oil which was much better to rub in etc. The new one goes on like a water based. The old one went a much better colour also.

I always use Ambre Solaire No Streaks Bronzer Spray before a night out, i love it! if you know how to apply fake tan properly then this is the perfect product to use, i would only recommend it to fairly dark skinned people though.

Ambre Solaire No Streaks Bronzer Spray is fairly easy to use..Needs more instructions on bottle. Achieved a nice tan on 3rd day of use but was alot of trail and error as I had orange feet the first time I used it.

I love the idea of a home self tan spray, and this feels just like the stuff from the salon when you apply it! I had finished applying in less than 10 minutes and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it dries in comparison to creams.
The odour is okay and not too biscuity, it doesn't leave a mess behind. Unfortunately the instructions on the can are what let this product down. It just says to spray on at a distance of 30cm, which I did. I have waited nearly 2 hours and have yet to see a change in colour on pasty legs! So I have read people's reviews - most of which suggest rubbing product in for even and nice coverage and to use tan wipes for the face and not the spray!
Now why didn't Ambre solaire think of providing these tips on the back of it's can??? Overall, this gets my vote as I prefer it to all the creams out there. But they let me down with poor instructions!

Ambre Solaire No Streaks Bronzer Spray is very quick to apply, lovely dark color, but only does me 2 applications. A bit annoyed that you cannot get all the mousse out of the tin as its not the cheapest tan to buy ($14.99)
