Poor and rude service! No explanation for dishes! Crammed seating! Not the entire menu delivered! Poor food quality! Slow to provide drinks and plates! Obligatory service charge! Poor entertainment, if you fear masks don't go! In fact just don't go!!

My second time at anastasia, we visited with family and friends for a birthday party. I never really eat greek but this realy hit the spot. The staff were friendly and we were offered a compimentary bottle of wine. Shortly after the greek dancers arived, one of which encouraged me to join in with several others. After a few more drinks we received an average bill. All in all a smashing night out!

Went to a a Chistmas party night here and the food was I can only describe both awful and cold in my opinion. Even after reheated it was still cold and when pointing this out the reception were given by the staff was that of being disinterested. Don't waste you money going here - you are not guaranteed good food or a good time!

We had a great time at Anastasia's, everything was perfect except for the music - we had to leave early as we all seemed to find it difficult to make ourselves heard. Great shame as we would've liked to have spent longer in the restaurant but couldnt due to loudness of music and it didnt help that we were sat right next to the speakers as well!

Lively Greek Restaurant of the 'entertainment' variety.
Great on fun and entertainment. Good for a night out with some loud mates, average on food.
If you want somewhere a bit special, for a romantic night out, you really want the other Greek Restaraunt on Holywell Hill!

We had settled the bill mid way through the night and continued to order drinks from the bar and pay for them. We received an extra bill of £400 that they produced at the end of the night. And on top of all that, Anastasia Greek Taverna in St Albans is a dive, with the food reflecting the lack of quality above. Not impressed! Not good service and not worth the bother. From now on, I will have a good night and go somewhere else.

The service at Anastasia Greek Taverna was very average and the staff looked completely bored and fed-up. The food was also average and came up very quickly. They forgot to bring our wine and had to be reminded. There was a hen night party at the rear of the restaurant and loud disco music was played which was very annoying. We should have been warned about this on reserving a table. This is not a restaurant I would be inclined to return to.

Anastasia Greek Taverna - We always choose Anastasia for Greek cuisine, as it is well-known to us and many others for having good food and an an enjoyable experience. Sadly, our last visit was marred by lukewarm, bland food which was unexpected. The wine, however, was fantastic (allow them to choose something), and the starters were so large anyway that a below-standard main course could not have been packed away even if it had been as delicious as it should have been. Next time we might try Kyrikolis (?) next door but I'm sure it won't be our last visit despite the bad experience.

I love this restaurant, you obviously went on a party night. I think your comments are unfair. Say anything you like but please do not trash the food. it's the best Greek I have eaten in a long time.
