Generally I Would Have To Point Out That The Dvsl-

Generally I would have to point out that the DVSL-10 is exellent for playing CD, DVD and other formats of disk. It is easy to clean every once in while and indeed this is necessary because exterior and laser lenses can become dusty, greasy and so forth. The designers at SHARP corporation have exelled in terms of their design and overall manufacture of this very unique product.

In terms of its size it is in fact smaller than most players that I have seen. This is good because when you think about it, sometimes spaces can be somewhat limited in cabinets and other areas in which this player and other players go. Worth the money!

I Purchased The Sharp Dv Sl10h Player From Richer

I purchased the Sharp DV SL10H player from Richer Sounds today for £57.95.

Set up is very easy. Connect up the scart and power and away you go. The manual is easy to follow.

Although the documentation refers to the fact that this is a Region 2 only player, there's a multi-region sticker on the box and yes it does play Region 1. (immediately recognises the disc -no hacks required).

The Matrix with it's special features plays fine.

The picture quality is good. The remote is OK, all the control features that you expect are present.

One thing that I have noticed though on all the DVD's I've played, you do need to increase the sound levels a fair bit, It's connected to a 14" portable and this may be the reason.

Overall this is good player for the money.
