Customer Service Is Not One Of There Good Points
we visited this eating place today after moving away from the area and coming back to visit friends, years ago this was one of the nicest bakerys in the maldon area but today my opinion is very different. the food is ok and the prices are resonable for what you get, however the staff are abrupt almost to the point of rudeness and it is i beleive now a family business.....we waited almost half an hour for our food which was served seperatly and my partner had finished his before i got mine, there was not a sorry or apologie just muttering under her breath. the elder lady spoke to the lady in the kitchen terribly and if i was that person in the kitchen i think i would have left in tears. i felt very sorry for the young girl working there and was very disappointed in how this bakery has now turned out, i would suggest a course in customer service is well over due and we will certainly not go there again.

..... but Cherry Tree Bakery, Maldon is so good it drags me in everytime. Good, honest food, great service and reasonably priced. If I owned a bakery I'd want it to be this one !

We Visited Cherry Tree Bakery As We Had Been Stayi
We visited Cherry Tree Bakery as we had been staying with friends at Millbeach. Went for breakfast and everything seemed to be to much trouble for the staff.

The Cherry Tree Bakery Can Be Found At Bentalls Sh
The Cherry Tree Bakery can be found at Bentalls Shopping Centre, Heybridge, next to Tesco Express.
It is open from 8 until 5 Monday to Saturday and sells the most fantastic bread I've ever eaten. Breakfasts are incredile and the atmosphere is great.
It's run by a mother and daughter team from nearby Maldon and they've won various awards for their shop.
They also do a sandwich round to local businesses and can handle outside events with ease.
Highly recommended!
