For Me, The Baltistan's Biggest Asset Is Its Sunda

For me, The Baltistan's biggest asset is its Sunday Buffet which is excellent value and served all day. There's lots of choice - usually three starters and around six meat/fish based curries plus a couple of veg options - as well as the added bonus of pappadoms and chutney etc. Unlike most buffets, there's always a reasonably hot dish on offer too.

At other times the food is pretty standard Bangladeshi style curries but the portions are large and alcohol is served.

It's located out of the town centre but there's a couple of pubs nearby and plenty of on-street parking.

Been Coming To Baltistan In Luton For Years. Recom

Been coming to Baltistan in Luton for years. Recommend the Tuesday Gourmet meal. Starter, main course, side dish, rice AND naan for 9.95. Always get a complementary short at the end of the meal which is a nice touch. The restaurant has a reputation for large portions so the gourmet night is a killer. I come to this event every 6 weeks with the guys from work. Many of them travelling 20 miles and they all say this is the best Indian they have been to so we keep coming back. The Sunday buffet has a nice selection which rotates over 4 weeks.

Been To Baltistan Twice And Found It Good Even Tho

Been to Baltistan twice and found it good even though i'm not a big fan of Indian food. Not my taste. But I will say that the food I had there was very good. My Girlfriend got a Rose on both occasions as well. She loves the Baltistan and visits a lot with her Girlfriends.

For Those In A Hurry, The Baltistan, Luton Service

For those in a hurry, the Baltistan, Luton service isn't always the quickest. However, considering the big portions, this can be a good thing. And if you can't eat it all, they will happily bag for carry out.

The food is excellent - the best Luton in my opinion. And on Tuesday evenings you can get a starter, main course, rice, side dish, naan bread and coffee for £8.95. Excellent value!

Sunday lunchtime buffet is excellent too. And every time I've dropped in for a takeaway, I always had a beer on the house or a beer/wine to take away - free. I don't know if everyone gets this - I am a bit of a regular - but I would never use another Indian restaurant in Luton.

Give it a go - you won't be disappointed.
