Being one of the most competitive supermarket petrol station groups, Asda petrol prices are often seen as competitive. But are they the cheapest petrol prices in your area? Send us a review and tell us!

Hi Just like the supermarkets are doing based upon the COVID 19 outbreak, as so many people have to use the same fuel pumps on a regular basis you can not guarantee that not everybody is a carrier of the Virus and where they are all sharing the same facilities such as when touching the chip and pin device, the fuel pump gun that there could be the virus on particles of the fueling facilities, so to reduce the need of having so much contact with the equipment upon the payment side for precautional that it would be responsible to provide a contactless method with the machine for contactless payment and also the supermarkets are putting the maximum up to £45 from tomorrow to make things safer for people so they do not have to make unnecessary contact with the facilities based upon the number of people who have to share them daily. Also, another thing to bring forward upon health and safety improvement is if your employees daily check that the PPE facilities are in stick beside the pumps as well all the time such as gloves and the blue paper role and based upon the current circumstances that should be monitored and checked more regular than usual at times like this to reduce the transmission of the virus being spread between customers sharing the same equipment. Also if there are any procedures that can be done by the mobile app as well so to prevent touching the more main facilities if it can be avoided where hundreds of other people have had close contact with and where they could be carrying the covid19.

Very clever [name removed] are you being paid a bonus for the clever trick of further increasing the differential in price between petrol and diesel. When you raise the prices that increase will stay, further increasing Asda profits, ie 3p off petrol only 2p off diesel. Diesel cars, as you know are the most common vehicle hence the extra cost of diesel, this has being going on far too long and I am disgusted at the further participation of Asda in it. This differential doesn't exist across Europe. I urge motorists to join the Fair Fuel campaign, to fight against the blatent profiteering in this country both in the price of fuel and the excessive tax. I am seething at Asda's move as I regularly fill up at Asda St.Helens and am angered at the signs showing the huge price difference. We also shop regularly at Asda need I say this will not be happening in future. Really help the motorist by equalising petrol and diesel prices then perhaps we will see the caring sharing Asda, that does not exist any more, start to return again.

I have noticed for quite some time now that if,for instance,I buy £20 of fuel, when I go to pay,the price has mysteriously risen by 1 or 2p.I am wise to this now and so,I check every time that the price has 'stabilised' before i go into the kiosk.Today,I purchased £10 of fuel.I checked after I hung up the pump and it was still £10.In the kiosk, the price had risen to £10.02.That adds up to money in Asda's till, but the equivalent fuel not being dispensed.I f that happened to 1 in 3 customers, then there's a tidy little sum that the tills are over by at close of business, just waiting to be shared out by.....who knows? This is tantamount to fraud,in my eyes.I've reported it before, but nothing has been done.

The price may be right, but if you can reclaim the VAT the constant lack of receipts is a b----r I am fed up to the back teeth of chasing across to the store to get a receipt in one month I am short of three receipts totalling £264.02 ( 7, 10, 23 of March) thats a lot of VAT Mr Asda.
But does anybody want to know - not b----y likely.
The pumps tell you one is being printed but nothing appears.

My local Asda in Lincoln was rebuilt a couple of years ago. Compared to the old petrol station the new one is a 500% improvement. More pumps and more space, two pay booths plus four card operated pumps. I very rarely use the pay booth, finding the 'fast lane' card operated pumps are nearly always empty, even at busy times. Have found on the few occassions that I have use the pay booths, it can be slow. They only seem to operate both pay booths at extremely busy times, so even at quiet times you usually have to queue to pay. Have not found any problems with the marking on the pumps. All grades and types of fuel are very clearly marked.
