Cheaptickets.com ADVERTISES that individuals purchasing tickets can cancel their flight reservations within 24 hours, and receive a FULL refund. What they don't ADVERTISE is that you will receive a refund minus the booking fee previously charged. When an organization advertises something, they should honor it in its entirety, not use loaded words to deceive customers.

“Change of flight”

When I booked tickets, it was showing 9:50am but when I booked and checked it came as 9:50pm. I called cheap tickets and also airlines but no one helped me to change my late evening flight to morning flight. Finally I had to buy a new two tickets to see my family in other states. They said they will charge per person $200 + other fees which may apply.

“Poor Customer Service - Unable to solve problem”

I bought tickets for an event/concert for my mother for Christmas. She lost the tickets and I emailed their customer service to find out what could be done. I received an automated reply, that basically said that they received my email and would get back to me promptly. That was over a month ago and no one has responded yet. I called the phone number and was put on hold a number of times and was eventually told someone would email me soon with what we can do to resolve this issue. They never called or emailed. I called back today and they basically said there is nothing they can do. I would find a company that is better able to resolve problems in a timely matter the next time I buy tickets.

Cheap tickets sucks. They outsource all the customer service reps so very difficult to understand. They do not answer incoming calls so eternal hold. I was on call with them for over 2 hours on an issue that they never could understand enough to resolve. I just let the trip go to waste. That seemed like a better alternative. I would suggest to everyone to NEVER use them, ends costing more in the end. Literally

“They Left Us Stranded In Honolulu”

In April, we purchased airline tickets for St. Louis to Molokai for July 24. Upon arrival at Honolulu, we discovered that the airline for the next leg of our journey no longer operated out of Honolulu. We contacted cheaptickets and they would not assist us except to provide us the number to the airline that we were supposed to be flying out on. This was zero help since that airline no longer operated out of Honolulu. We did call them, though, and were told that they stopped operating out of Honolulu June 14. So cheaptickets had several weeks to notify us of this change, but did nothing... and then left us to fend for ourselves once we contacted them for help.

“There are some things you need to know about this company.”

I bought tickets at cheaptickets.com and learned the lessons. 1. If you are traveling as a family, they will book you on separate seats. In my case, they separated my 2-year-old son to sit by himself for 11 hours. You have to keep calling them to get the seats arranged. 2. Customer service representatives do not speak clear English. You have to have very good listening abilities since they speak to you in thick accents, mostly Indian accent. 3. You have to call them back to verify all pieces of information you receive from them regarding your reservation. In my case, they double-booked my son with 2 tickets. 4. They do not sell you tickets to infants though you pay for it. I do not know the law and system, but they will say you have to buy an additional ticket for your infant at the airport when you buy a ticket for your infant.

i have been chasing this for awhile,i booked british airways flight from london to lagos for £480 from 31 may 2012 to 21 june 2012 with someone called Austin whom works in the company and made and advance payment of £250 on the 13 of april 2012 by transfer from my bank account to theirs and was agreed whats left to be paid in a months time only to ring their office number and found out its be disconnected.i have every mains possible phone calls,websites,written emails etc but no respond.could someone get back to me asap for my refund?

“I let my my daughter book the flight and hotel stay.....”

I let my my daughter book the flight and hotel stay.. prolly a mistake there but she has learned from the best. The flight was great no problems. The shuttle drive/driver was horrible we found out we were over charged for oneand then the driver tried to hustle us for a tip.The hotel was Aweful, dirty carpets,stains on the headboard,bug stains on wall, wash cloth issues (go figure), elevator issues on a Friday nite.
The problem was after we thought about it we found that we could take the airport shuttle back to airport for 1/10 of what we paid so we called Cheaptickets.. after being on hold for 10minutes we were finally connected to service agent she was courteous and helpful and quickly offered us and refund. Prolly to quickly, we made that call on the 19 of March and I just called them back today April 5th and it turns out that notes were taken but refund was never issued. I was promised that she was doing it as we spoke so we will see.

I booked an internation multi-city flight. The flight is flying into Athens on Delta and flying from Rome to Orlando on Austrian Airlines origianlly. Austrian canceled one of their flights so we were rebooked on Lufthansa. Cheaptickets said they could not reprint the paper tickets and that Delta had to do it and they sent me to the airport. Got the the airport and they said, nope sorry, Cheaptickets printed them, they have to reprint them. Called them back and they refused to reprint them. After 5 hours on the phone and 2 trips to the airport, they finally got the reservations right on their site. I mailed the tickets back to them Express Mail with my tickets as well as another couple They are claiming now that they have the other couples tickets and not our tickets. Also, now, they do not have the other couple confirmed on the return flight. And still no tickets! I do not recommend to book a holiday with Cheap Tickets.
