“Ths suspension is on the soft side which makes for...”

Ths suspension is on the soft side which makes for great driver comfort, but as a result the handling starts to deteriorate when near the load limits.

A reliable runner and parts are easy to get should you need them.

My Daf 45 is giving warnings like oil pressure, engine warning and movement of the truck has changed. What do I do?

We have a fault on our DAF 45 that our main dealer can't solve. At the beginning of a journey we get a red 'engine'warning' fault. The injectors and pump have been pressure tested. The injector sleeves have been replaced. The pressure release valve on the rail has been replaced and the high pressure valve behind the pump has been replaced. None of this has helped. The error message in the diagnostics is fuel pump leakage. Gauge attached when this fault happens shows the fuel pressure drops suddenly to 100 psi. Switching the engine off and waiting a few minutes then switching it on again usually cures the fault for the rest of the journey. Main dealer can't understand why there is a sudden pressure drop when the accelerator is being used and why this only happens at the start of a journey. Does anyone have any suggestions?
