It was a wonderful stables, I have stopped attending because it was a little expensive.The horses are so well kept and groomed, yard is alot of the time spotless, they really care about the horses not just the money they get. There were a few times they came off as a lil rude but it was a wonderful experience! I rode there for over a year and I loved every moment there. I hope to visit again sometime soon!!

My two girls have recently started on a Monday afternoon to have lessons with the yard manager . My girls love there lesson and always come out with the biggest smiles on there faces . There instructor had a great way of getting the girls to learn and concentrate while making it fun at the same time. The staff are really friendly and welcoming . The ponies all look in fantastic condition and the yard is always spotless . Would recommend to anyone looking to learn to ride.

I strongly recommend this riding school, I took my daughters who have never ridden before. We had a fantastic time and even managed a trot at the end. Lovely friendly staff and very relaxed horses. We all really enjoyed going over the downs and taking in the views. Next time we will book in for summer camp.

Really lovely, extremely well cared for little ponies and gorgeous horses to suit all abilities. Immaculate yard with highly trained, happy and professional staff. The tuition is focussed on improving the understanding of how you ride your horse and therefore ways of improving your communication with them. All levels of all disciplines catered for. Such a friendly welcoming atmosphere, would recommend to anyone wishing to expand their knowledge and improve their riding abilities. Wish they were nearer so I could go on a weekly basis! Really very well thought out planning and management of the yard, arenas, courses and events. Well done Old Mill Stables! I have never been to such a friendly yard the STAFF WHERE LOVELY the horses where all beautifully turned out and a very tidy yard I have been riding t old mill for over 6 years now an I have enjoyed every minuet never a boring lesson always come away feeling like I have learnt so much love it love it love it. I recommend to anyone any age My whole family love riding at old mill and love the lovely horses and ponies :-)

I have improved greatly since having lessons at old mill. It is a very friendly yard. The teaching is great and the horses are very well looked after. The staff are so helpful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!!

My children have lessons here and the instructors are really very good.I watched a lesson and think they get the right balance of fun,progressive and safe.So we moved to this stables for lessons and have been so pleased ,and they can help look after them too.The ponies are lovely and when the children grow out of them ,they can move up to horses which are well trained.

I love Old mill riding stables, I spend most of my time there and over the years I have been given so many amazing opportunities from all the kind owners and staff!! I have been riding for Old Mill Stables for almost 8 years and I have loved every minute. There is a wide range of horses and ponies to suit everyone, depending on ability and size. The horses are all in great condition due to the excellent care from staff. The horses are groomed daily and are checked regularly. All staff are very knowledgable, meaning the horses are always well looked after. Everyone is friendly and approachable, creating a happy atmosphere on the yard. Next, the riding instructors are great, riders improve constantly due to the high quality of teaching. Furthermore, everything is always kept in immaculate condition; tack and other equipment is clean, the yard is always swept and stables are mucked out daily, aswell as checks throughout the day. There is two schools; an outdoor school and then an indoor school with the Olympic surface from the London 2012 games underfoot. I would highly recommend this superb riding school to anyone who is interested in riding; whether it is regular lessons, hacks or as a one off, Old Mill Stables is the place to go!

Old mill in my opinion is amazing stalf are nice Stables are very clean every where is tyde horses are clean and look in very good Condishion love it Would recommend it to every one that wants to ride they Have also now got the olimpicks riding sand it is amazing xxx

I have been riding at old mill since I was 8 and I'm now 13,I love all the horses they have great manners! I highly reccomend this stables to anyone from all ages! Its not over priced, really high standards and very experienced riders who are very helpful! We have routines which we follow everyday and no-ones ever left bored! The instructors are great and have made me extremley experienced and confident througout the years! A big thanks to everyone at this stables its great!

I have been going to old mill for 2 years now and cannot think of a single fault! I think this is the best riding center/stables in the area.All of the horses are propley cared for, if there is even a small sign of illness the vet is called imediately.The teaching is fantastic and i have learnt a lot. They don't rush you into things that are not your level and always listen to your questions. They alway put you on horses that are right for your size. All the horses are lovely, there is a wide selection of them!!! I would reccomend this stables to anyone...even my nan! They even do riding for the disabled!!! Go to Old Mill. you will not be dissapointed.
