breaston is good riding school and the tuition is good but i stopped going as i found that the livery's had priority over us minions, the active riding club is good but again the livery's had priority i also found if u rode one of the livery's horses and they were watching off putting even though they don't actually own them they seem to think they do.its a riding school that is why i went, to LEARN to ride

I found this review not helpful because... it's not true. Livery people don't have priority and they don't act like they own the horses at all! And they have a right to watch if they would like to!!!! And anyway what does it matter if they watch. When they were watching me when I was riding one of their horses it didn't matter.

“I did enjoy riding for 5 years at Breaston Equestrian...”

I did enjoy riding for 5 years at Breaston Equestrian from 2003 - 2008 (age 11 to 16) until I got my own horses, the lessons are very good quality and the yard is relatively friendly. However, I found that the liveries could be fairly rude about the "non liveries" riding abilities. The instructors do rant and rave at you, and this can be quite daunting when you want to have a further explanation. HOWEVER, I would definately go back for competition schooling, as the yard is very competitive.
