I Bought The Star Wars: Republic Commando Pc Game
I bought the Star Wars: Republic Commando PC game after it was recommended by a friend. I saw all the trailers beforehand of course.
This game was exactly as I had expected, and Star Wars themed all through. My only disappointment came when I completed it after about 3 days! Multi-player is better. The servers are great, and there is no AI, you just play death matches against real human players. If you like online play then I strongly recommend this, but if you just want single player, there are a lot better games around.

I Expected Star Wars: Republic Commando To Be A Go
I expected Star Wars: Republic Commando to be a good title, but I was completely underwhelmed. It seems more like unreal or doom or something with a few aliens from the Star Wars universe thrown in. The fact that joystick axis mapping isn't even supported in the game in any form makes this game a total bust for me. You're stuck hunting and pecking on the keyboard while the consoles get actual tactile control. Overall a big zero.

Star Wars: Republic Commando Is Overall An Awesome
Star Wars: Republic Commando is overall an awesome game. If you're a starwars fan, but dont like action games.... you still HAVE to play it.... and vice versa.
The single player campaign gives you an amazing thrill of being a Republic Commando during the Clone Wars. Action is well balanced and constant. You will not find a boring minute in the game. Graphics are really good even on low end machines. Sound is also superb: Good voice acting, amazing SFX and a great and dark musical score.
Multiplayer however is nothing special and could have made the game an absolute Mona Lisa if all the opportunities had been taken on that area of development. But it is clear the team wanted to focus on singleplayer. This however should not withold anyone from playing this game!
Everything About Star Wars: Republic Commando Is L
EVERYTHING about Star Wars: Republic Commando is lame and mediocre. It's hardly anything of what it claims. It's so kiddie-arcade; it would make even Jar-Jar and Barney nauseated.
Graphics are circa 1997, and the enemies are dumber than asteroids. Your team-mates love to wait until you're ready to shoot, then stand right in front of you. Gameplay and level design just doesn't get any more boring or linear than this. Everything around you is brightly lit and flashing - telling you exactly where to go and exactly what to do. And if somehow you're still uncertain, there's this tiny, high-pitched kids voice always telling you, along with your teammates in-between the bad jokes. Speaking of jokes, that is exactly what this game is.
If you want a good First-Person Star Wars Shooter, get ANY of the Jedi Knight Series games, even back to the first one.
Star Wars: 'Republic Commando' - The Kiddie-Arcade Game of the Century. For ages 6 to 10.
