“terrible customer service, unbelievable!”

The sales associate of Tory Burch on the second floor, Shoes Gallery, is so unqualified and shows no respect to customers. I asked for a size 39 but he brought me a size 9 in American size, which equals size 39.5-40. I didn't notice and took it home. Then the next week I took the unused shoes there again to change the size, he insisted that I've worn them cuz they looked a little bit dirty. I said I've tried them both in selfridges and home, but not used, so hoped he could try to clean them to see the truth. He just declined and even smelt it and said " yeah u have used them." OMG showing no respect and lying all the time!!! So I went back and cleaned them, taking to him the next day, telling him he mistook the size first, that should not be my fault. But he still insisted he was right, saying he doesn't need to provide the correct information, and even said "You are a bad customer" to me. OMG!!! As a salesman, he can't provide correct information, he never admits his faults, and he does and says disrespectful things to the consumer. His female manager said nothing about that, without a" sorry "to me. They really let me down..I don't think I will buy shoes there anymore, cuz I don't want to pay for someone else's fault, without experiencing any service from them!

I have a question about Selfridges online service. Many people like myself, I paid 390 pounds for an international delivery that never arrived. Is there no legal action to be taken to at least get ones money back? I don´t live i England but surely there must be laws against just taking peoples money and then never deliver the item or returning the money? Would be very grateful for an answer
