I have nothing but praise for this sax excellent value for money and gives a professional tone with good action. Need good mouthpiece but if sax set up well blows well through the range. Excellent intermediate student model. I have gigged a lot with mine but have now bought a Selmer series 2 which seems a logical step.

Is there a difference between JTS 587 and JTS 587 GL? I'm looking to buy a second hand sax with the letters "JTS 587, China made"? Just concerned that on this sax, the letters GL are not included.
