Maynards Wine Gums

why do companies change from a winners. I can quote so many business that change a great taste to something quite horrible.

I am 55 and I have for about 50 years eaten wine gums. My kids, my grand kids all eat them, but not anymore. We spit the black one out as they are so strange and we have now as an entire family quite them.

So thank got fruit pastels are still available ...!

Why oh why did they change ?

I am eating a packet right now. I love the fact that there are different colours and flavour. I always finish it right away, they are so addictive. I cannot decide which flavour is the best. I got to have all of it. It's really by far the best sweet ever, although lateley I have been finding that the packet with 3 of each colour sometimes does not have all 3 of a colour, how disappointing! I have 2 daughters and it is usually the ideal sweets to share. Finding 1 or 2 of a colour short is so not nice!

I found these sweets to be bland and not worth the money you pay for them. I find Haribo better in taste and quality.

bought some maynards wine gums in the process of eating them had a sharp feeling from tonge and mouth spat out sweet found blood coming from mouth found a piece of glass/plastic which caused the pain and blood never will buy again

The Government should think about upping the TAX on them because I'm buying them by the ton.

Maynards Wine gums are definately one of my all-time favourite sweets. The flavour that is in them is absolutely amazing. When i get the packet of wine gums, i plan to let them last at least a week, but this never usually happens as they are soo delicious!! I love all of the flavours that are included int the packet because they all taste soo nice. But, i have to say that with all of the maynards wine gums that i have had, i have always noticed that there is never hardly any blacks. (Not compared to the rest of the amount of sweets anyway.) My nan also has the same sweets as well and she has them regulary because she loves them so much - like me. So, she has noticed this problem as well - especially as the black ones are her most favourite! Apart from that , there is nothing else that you can find fault with. So in the future, i think that there should be more blacks included in the packet so that all of the flavours are equal and everyone is even more happy!!

Somehow after I have eaten them I feel healthier than if you have just consumed a bar of chocolate.

However these scrummy yummy sweets are, for me, way too addictive, and recently I bought a big bag of them, planning for them to last at least 2 days, however unfortunately they had disappeared into my mouth after an hour!

I think that red, green and blacks are the best!

As I am writing this I am eating a pack of Maynards Wine Gums. Their packaging gives you the feeling that these Jellies are nicer than cheaper variants, and they are. They have a nice texture, good flavour and are the perfect size, they are a perfect adult sweet.
