Order of laptop and memory split into two packages. Memory package goes missing on voyage. Contact Customer Support - 'we will trace with the courier, update in 3-5 days' 7 days later, contact customer support, except the automated email system refuses to recognize the email as an ongoing complaint, and it goes through all the 'answer within 24 hours' malarkey first. Again, with the 'will contact courier, 3-5 days' malarkey. 30 days later, no response from courier. no memory, and will be going… Read Full Review

“Never ever use”

Poor service is not the word. Stay away from Laptops direct. I ordered a laptop that it has taken me a long time to save for and was excited to receive it. However it arrived damaged not badly but I wanted a shiny new computer I had waited so long for. I reported it within 1 hour of delivery I was offered £20 to keep it which I declined and said I wanted it replaced. “Faulty product shipped then awful customer service”

Laptops Direct are quick to take your money but should you need customer service then at that point you will get the run around, excuses, and the kitchen sink in order to not give you a refund. They delivered a defective computer i.e. stone cold dead. It was returned (to their supplier - they don't actually have ANY computers in stock, they simply pass the order on to any number of 3rd party suppliers) and accepted as being faulty, yet it took over a month to get my money back.
