Jamo Classic 6

Excellent sound quality for a decent price. Excellent balance and transition , good mid range freq. response...

If you like listening to classical music these speakers are a must. A friend is trying to hunt a pair down because he is in awe of the sound quality playing at high volumes in a house, or softly for that matter - he just cannot get the quality on his speakers which were top of the range when purchased by another maker.

Does anyone know where a pair can be bought of Jamo classic 6 speakers now?

I needed 4ohms speakers having tried others with classical music and my particular hi fi separates, and these are the only ones that left me feeling they were worth spending on. The sound is crystal clear and instrumental. Even at a high volume or very low one, the sound is clear without distortion. They are the only speakers I would buy again if they died, and never will I regret buying them in the first place on a low income as a divorcee. They are probably the finest speakers in my price range I will ever hear. I rarely get to use them at full volume but when I do- wow- it feels like live orchestra in the room with you- this is the best hi fi purchase i ever made. I would ditch all other components with exception of my speakers.

Very good speaker for music if you're looking for something less expensive, but make sure you have enough space around the speakers, because it should be positioned at least 2 feet from the nearest wall. Otherwise the bass will echo horribly from the walls.For movie playback I recommend purchasing a subwoofer, although it could be difficult to find an affordable subwoofer with a range that goes lower than these speakers.

the classic 6 r the bom as the bass is superb and so is the treble u will never blow them like i did with my wharfadale laser 120 .

Jamo classic 6 has great sound and abilities, good in all rooms shapes and sizes and a lovely finish.
