I Think The Sony Vaio Tr1mp Is A Good Laptop Compu

I think the Sony Vaio TR1MP is a good laptop computer for the office worker who will be using it as a word processor on the move, or for using the internet; but it is not a good idea for the rich school child who thinks they will look "cool" with a small laptop, because it just isn't a high enough performer for the demands of a child/teenager, and definitely a little too fragile.

Not true, i use this laptop at school, it happily produces powerpoint presentations and plays them. I use professional video editing software with it (avid dv) and it works perfectly. Also i have no problems playing age of empires on it smoothly.

Size Does Not Matter! Any Notebook Can'

Size does not matter!

Any notebook can't be performing, looking or weighing better then the latest Sony TR1MP Notebook, read on

The recently launched Sony VAIO TR1MP Notebook (Laptop) weighs only 1.4 kgs. And boasts of a 900 MHz Intel Pentium M processor (Gamers sorry), 256MB Ram, 30GB hard disk, DVD-CD-RW combo drive (CD writer with a DVD drive), Intel 855M integrated graphics, 10.6 inch 1,280 x 768 TFT screen, 802.11b, Bluetooth, VGA camera built in and Windows XP operating system on board!

Along with designer Grey and Silver exterior you get this new age silvery white interiors, yes including the keyboard its all silvery white this time. (Did the SONY design team attend LIFW 2003?)

The top of the screen has a Motion Eye camera, which turns around 180 degrees vertically for comfort of shooting great Digital pictures. The right hand side of the screen has an image capture button for kids to shoot when dads are not around, it's that easy

Considering the size this lil devil has a lot to offer like the CD-RW / DVD drive is on the front panel (unlike the usual side) for easier use and also has a 30 GB hard disk, a very large number of PC users still do not have that size of hard disk on there desktops!

The integrated 802.11b wireless switch is on the front chassis, a cute lil Memory Stick slot on the right and a VGA out if you suddenly want to connect your Notebook to a projector.

Keyboard is a little smaller but with very well defined and spaced keys for ease of typing. Two USB 2.0 ports accompanied by a mini FireWire and also with a DC out for letting you charge your Digital Cameras, glad?

The right side also has an Ethernet and modem ports, Headphone and Mic sockets and a single Type II PC Card slot as well.

The battery lasted for 3 hours straight till I finished 5 different kind of cha and Mocha's, that's double the time compared to your normal Pentium 4 notebooks!

The 10. 6-inch TFT screen is the newly launched Sony's 'Onyx Black' technology; these screens have a higher contrast ratio than other Sony screens, which makes DVD watching a truly enhanced experience.

Over all its one of the best Notebooks you could buy for your monies with amazing comfort for travelers and mind blowing features but as I told you none of the dealers are offering this at the moment in India, the price in London is approximately 1800 Sterling pounds only, go get it!
