Will never enter this branch again as long as the guy working there is employed. His attitude is so bad I've actually officially complained, which I rarely do. If zero stars were an option that's what I would mark the 'experience '.

My wife and I were traveling in Italy and were in Pisa on Monday, Dec. 3rd. Less than a half block from the leaning tower was this goof head dressed in a Subway costume promoting Subway. So embarrassing - no other promotional activities by anyone but only a stupid US company. Oh by the way, I live in Lakeway, Texas. The original subway was by the Randalls store. Went there often and it was crowded, well managed. Someone decided Subway needed to change so they moved to a small location in the new Oaks Shopping Center near HEB. Poor parking to start, then when I went to the door at 11:45, it was locked. The staff inside were obviously arguing. They looked at the door, ignored me and kept yelling at each other. You can check, it has a "1" rating as "terrible". Who was the brilliant dude who forced this change. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb.

Visiting the Morden branch one morning I asked for my onions to be toasted along with the sausage. I was told "I'm not doing that" I asked him why not? makes the toaster stink" he says. I explained that I have used subway all over the world and never have they refused to toast my vegetables. stinks the toaster, I'm not doing that " he says again! I asked him how come bacon, sausage, eggs don't "stink the toaster"? I also asked him how come teriyaki chicken, meatballs and that famous dairy product that is famous for being stinky, cheese doesn't "stink the toaster"? And yet vegetable do? I have contacted the head office who replied promptly who passed it on to the franchisee who hasn't responded.

My family entered the restaurant at 7:30 pm, the employee shouted oh "Curse Word" and my husband asked what, he replied I'm not ready for all these people and stormed off to the back of the restaurant and make a call on his cell phone and continued to talk on his phone, so we left the restaurant. Needless to say we were the only people in the place and we had our 4 and 11 year old children with us not what we thought our children would be exposed to in a Subway (Buffalo, WY)

I have been to many Subway outlets and have always been impressed with the food. Today I visited the one in March, Cambridgeshire and was very disappointed. I ordered bacon and cheese on an Italian herb roll. There was hardly any bacon and cheese in it. It was just like eating a dry roll. I was not impressed and will not be going to that particular outlet again.

We've been to the one in Cotati twice -- in March, then April of 2015. The owner has cut back so far on the cheese and herbs, on the Italian Cheese and Herbs roll, that there's nothing of it. The owner also requires the employees to give us HALF AS MUCH of what we used to get, of whatever we asked for. There's almost nothing in the sandwiches, anymore. The only thing they are allowed to give us as much of, is lettuce! To have avocado in the sandwich -- that has NO MEAT in it -- the owners charge an extra dollar! Meat doesn't cost an extra dollar, but avocado does! This is a rotten attitude toward the customer! Ripped off for the last time -- because we'll never bring our money back there.

This is the Worst Subway Outlet ever... The Staff is so bad they literally yell at the customer and serve soggy bread. Also they just don't entertain sub loyalty cards and over charge the customers. Very horrible service, ill mannered and drunk staff serving worst sandwiches.

I have been in touch with Subway regarding my disappointment over a visit. This is really just to warn any vegetarians out there to beware of eating subway if you are a strict vege. I wasn't going to submit any review but after the response I go I felt I needed to. I went into a local subway in Blackpool, UK to get my weekly subway and watched as the staff serving the customer in front used the same gloves to pick up the customers meat for their sandwich and then to get the salad out of the tubs, i.e. the same salad I was about to eat. Upon voicing my concern about this I was not really given a clear answer so left the store. Here are the emails that were sent..... SUBWAYS RESPONSE Thank you for your comments relating to how Subway cater for Vegetarians. After 5 years in the store, this is our very first complaint from a Vegetarian although we have many Vegetarian regular customers and indeed some of the staff are Vegetarian. We have had a lot of positive comments about how re-assured people are that we are one of the few company’s to ask if they would like us to change our gloves etc. However, I do take your point. We take all comments seriously, and whilst I cannot guarantee a financially viable solution, I can assure you that this will be further investigated internally and with the staff at the Subway Regional Office. It should be advised that all Subway’s operate in a similar fashion although at peak times, when a higher number of staff are on the line, then there is generally just one person dealing with Salad, without having touched meat first. Unfortunately it is not financially viable to operate in this manner from the time the store Opens to the time the Store Closes. One of the ways I can think of to get around this would be to advise the Staff that serve you, that you are a strict Vegetarian and would they mind taking Salad from the bottom of the Salad stacks, thereby minimising further the possibility of any gloves that have handled meat having touched it first. The staff are trained to be very sensitive to everyone’s individual needs and requirements and will endeavour to help wherever they can. I hope this goes someway into helping you enjoy the Subway brand in the future. Kind Rgds MY REPLY Thanks for the reply. Just to clarify, I was never looking for any 'financially viable solution' to this, it was to simply voice a concern. As a strick vegetarian, taking salad from the bottom of the salad stacks as you suggest really doesn't sit comfortably with me, especially when salad and cheese is picked up using the same glove as meat and any left over is placed back into the same container. So, sorry to say that was my last subway from yours or any store. ........................ To this I have had no response which figures. So, veges beware, I've probably been eating meat for the last 10 years without knowing it, great to find out. Just thought I'd share

I visited the Bredbury, Manchester branch a week ago and had to walk out without purchasing due to the flies flying around the food display and preparation area. Undeterred i visited the Didsbury, Manchester branch today and ordered a spicy italian. You can imagine my disappointment when i unwraped the sandwich at home and a fly crawled out. Straight in the bin. I will never go to subway again.

From SubwaY, Squiresgate Blackpool, my daughter just brought me my order - a pepperoni pizza toastie. When I opened the bag it showed the soggiest piece of bread roll I have ever had in my life! I had to put it in the oven to crisp up as I couldnt eat it as it was. Time wasted = 20mins, starvation level=150% - Ah well, you live and learn. Never again..would have been quicker to make it myself and soooo much cheaper!

HAD A TURKEY AND HAM FOOT LONG SUB WITH SALAD YESTERDAY. HAVEN'T BEEN OFF THE TOILET SINCE. DOCTOR SAYS ITS SALMONELLA, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. A FEW GOOGLE SEARCHES SINCE HAS ONLY JUST MADE ME REALISE THAT THIS FRANCHISE CHAIN IS A HOTBED OF DISEASE. NO IDEA HOW ANYONE COULD SCREW UP A SANDWICH, ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

i like subway food, but the service is very poor, the staff are more interested in talking to each other that serving,( mostly the men ),and some staff are not sure how to put the food together. and they just slap it together so to get you out quicker,

I had a tuna mayo sub on the evening of 15th August at Subway , Gatwick south terminal airport /trains and having been very ill through the night ended up in hospital the following morning with severe food poisoning .If there was an option for zero rating I would have taken it. My experience has been hellish

Maybe we live in the wrong area because our local Subway is rubbish! Staff not at all happy, speak in a whisper so you have to keep asking them to repeat themselves, but the worst thing is that whenever we go in after work (5:15) they NEVER have any meatballs, and our favourite is Meatball Marinara!!! So they havent had any money off us for the last few months as they never have what we like - how hard can it be to order enough meatballs, for goodness sake?

At first, the prices at Subway were great (£2 for a sandwich with the extras and a drink). 6 months later and that's £5.
The only decent one for me was the meatball marinara, but the balls have been hard on the edges recently, so I gave up.

This review is not aimed at the 'traditional' Subway menu but rather at the Breakfast menu.
I've eaten in 4 different Subways and not had a problem with the regular food before, but after having a couple of bad experiences of their breakfast I felt that I had to share this with everyone here.
Whilst I cannot add much to the excellent reviews and comments that have already talked about the food, staff and shops that constitute a Subway, I can tell you about the very poor service and food that I received.
The breakfast menu is pretty standard fare; Egg & Bacon Bap; Egg & Sausage Bap; Egg, Bacon & Sausage Bap; Egg & Tomato Bap etc.
In the first restaurant I tried the "Sandwich artist" and the waiter actually tested the heat of the re-heated egg by dipping his finger in it when he thought I wasn't looking. Thank god for mirrors!! That's one good thing I could but in the good points - Mirrors everywhere!
The egg mixture had been pre-cooked, a la McDonalds, which is another good reason to avoid it, the sausages were again re-heated and not very tasty, and the bacon looked so anaemic that it could have passed for veal!!!
The meal wasn't good value, and the only reason why I tried them again was that I was with someone else who raved about their foot-longs! Again I would like to stress that I have not got any gripes about their main menu, but both times I have had a breakfast I have felt sick afterwards, and I have written to both Subway and the franchisee with no reply from either.
If they are going to use microwaves to re-heat ingredients, then they should at least make sure they have strict guidelines for each item, and that the ingredients have been cooked properly in the first place, or actually use ingredients that are cooked in a microwave not just re-heated. There are plenty of microwave-able bacon, sausages and egg products on the market now. There is no excuse for using the same dried egg-reconstituted-cooked-cooled-then re-heated rubbish that McD's use.
I'm trying hard for this to not turn into a tirade of abuse aimed at microwave re-heating, but when you have seen inexperienced people using and abusing a perfectly good kitchen device and then suffered because of it, then it does test your anger management!!
I'm sure there are many people (myself included) who have cooked bacon, sausages and scrambled egg in a microwave without too many problems - why can't subway?

Thank you for making people aware. I used to be a vegetarian (pescatarian) and then recently became 90% vegan. The same happens in the store I would go to prior to becoming vegan; except there, they have a counter for meat and cheese suited for meat-eaters, and a separate section for salad and vegetarian cheese, and sauces. Although, the salad does still get touched with the same gloves (off-putting!). I'm going to start asking restaurants and shops if they want some free samples of vegan' produce to hand out to their customers, in the hope that more cater for vegans, and where meat is served if they could have a separate counter for all vegan/vegetarian produce to the meat/fish/seafood/dairy produce; so in the meat section would be salad, sauces and meat/fish. Another section would be salad, fish/seafood and sauces for pescatarians, and another would be vegan/vegetarian 'meats' and cheeses (another smaller section alone as vegans don't eat it) with salad and sauces. Also, the breads should be separated into sections 1)meat/fish eaters 2)pescatarians 3)vegans/vegetarians (may also need separation if one contains dairy' produce). They also have salad' bowls, as far as I know, with pre-packed salad. Take care
