hotel very nice, but weekends are a nightmare with the hunderds of tunisians, we arrived on wednesday evening and the dining rooms was full of tunisians with their childern, most were crying all through the meal. it did not get any better until monday. the food was manly catered for them, and lived on salad from wednesday evening until monday. also we did not have a cup of tea all week as they do not have english tea, best you take your own. do not take your children on the beach as it is disgusting with all the canal dropping and litter and well it is just horrible. if you like a drink the beer is rubbish only 1 per cent. went in to thomson holiday shop on the high street and they recommended tunisian, will i will never go back.

“We stayed at the Tryp Marco Polo Hotel for two weeks,...”

We stayed at the Tryp Marco Polo Hotel for two weeks, and had a really nice stay. When we arrived, we got our room really quick. Our room was on the ground floor, we really wanted a room high up. We asked the receptionist, and although the hotel was full, they did all they could, so we could get the room we really wanted.
The breakfast was nice, there was everything, warm pancakes, lots of different bread, all you wanted...
The hotel is near the beach, and you only have to go trough the hotel's lovely garden to get to the beach. It's a great beach, very clean. The water was very warm, and clean.
In Yasmine there is little to do, and little shops. If you are looking for a shopping holiday, then you have to go somewhere else. If you take a taxi in to Hammamet, beware of somebody who comes up to you and say that he is from your hotel, and he will take you to a place which is open only two days a year. Don't listen to him, he is not from your hotel, when you are not looking, he asks the taxi driver what hotel you came from. If you follow him he will take you to a place that sell carpets, they will offer you tea, and show you lots of carpets.
So it was a great stay, I'm going back and want to stay at Marco Polo Hotel.
