Tony And I Are Becoming Disciples Of Lonely Planet
Tony and I are becoming disciples of lonely planet guide, excellent travel guide (like Rick Steves :).. We usually take one of his guidebooks along with us when we travel, and we always enjoy reading about his recommendations. In Lonely's description of his "B&B of Rome " , he refers as "charming B&B". This description gave us some pretty high expectations of 58 Le Real of Rome and we were not disappointed! Charming and graceful. Spacious elegant reception. Comfortable inviting lounge. Large sophisticated room. Our room, which overlooked Via Cavour, was quite nice. Tightly fitting shutters made the room so dark that one morning we even slept through breakfast! The room was outfitted with a king sized bed and a sitting area. It is located over one of six o hills Esquilino, of Rome. It's hard to describe Rome in a few words; a city so vast and rich in art, monuments..Esquilino is the home of the great poets Virgilio and Orazio. It has three peaks, one of which is Monte Oppio, where you can find the ruins of Domus aurea only recently opened to the public after years of restoration. Initially, Esquilino was a suburb of Rome, which is the reason for the nickname 'exquilini' (non-tenants) given to its inhabitants, some believe that this is how the hill got its name.
This reviews seems canned, like it was written by the bed & breakfast management themselves. What gives?

Al 58 Di Via Cavour - I Chose This Hotel/b&b On Th
Al 58 di Via Cavour - I chose this hotel/B&B on the strength of the reviews in Lonely Planet's book. I would agree with - great location, spotlessly clean, well-sound-proofed. Perfectly located between the Station and the Colloseo, and right next to a Metro stop. Friendly and helpful staff, very nice breakfast, characterless but functional room with good view of Rome's skyline. Quiet, nice rooftop terrace, and a great location. One of few hotels that offered a reasonable rate for a very comfortable room.P lasma Tv, Jacuzzi cabin..lovely! A very enjoyable weekend.
It would be nice if these reviews included what rate the hotel was at when you stayed
