Had it about three weeks now love it can nip in and out of traffic great on fuel. Same journey home in a car takes me forty mins fifteen on the jog as i can go right down the middle . It looks really smart for a moped. It doesnt start with electric starter in the cold but is fine when you kick start and goes well when warm.

Yamaha Jog 50 RR is fast when restricted mine goes about 35 mph and 40-45 down hills, im think of getting it derestricted new pipe, new drive belt and also new air filter, could some1 tell me what size the main jet is in it, it is a 2005 (55) plate Yamaha jog r its a great bike, would recommend it.

I have just got the Yamaha Jog RR and am very impressed with it. I gt it completely standard then stuck a Leo Vince TT hand-made pipe on it and taken the restricter out, at the moment it does 32mph up hill and pulls very quick, yet I can only get 43 mph on flat, can any1 help me with some ideas I'm hoping I can get it to do 55+ thinking of getting it de-restricted.

Having owned this Yamaha Jog RR 50 for 4 months I think it is excellent and very good for the money I paid for it. I bought this because I wanted something different as all my friends have either a Speedfight or an Aprilia SR50.

Excellent bike, got it as my first to be different as everyone has speedfights..... Well rapid, nice and light, easy to ride.
If you do get one - de-restrict it. It is awesome. Put race can, lighter clutch rollers and removed restricter washer. Does 60mph! Over the clock. Quicker pick up than Runners and Speedfights. Highly recommended.
Good on fuel, nice touch with digital display. No problems.

The Yamaha Jog 50 RR is super, it does 35mph on flat that is still redistricted. Downhill it does, 45mph+, on got my to 50mph downhill but it started to make funny noises. The build quality is good and I would certainly recommend it.
