The jog cv 50 scooter is a fine machine.
Great value for money .
Can be modified to do 65 to 70 km by spacing the the rear cone drive
on the front cone (remove the washer)
The sring are fine for up to about 85 kg.
Very fuel wise.

The Yamaha Jog R is a great bike to ride around; so light it makes cornering easy, good economy and top acceleration. The bad points are basically the speed. with the standard exhaust i could only do 30mph (fair enough) i got it de-restricted by having the washer took out the variator and no difference. Bought a Technigas sports exhaust with rollers and still only does 30-35mph...Not the most reliable bike ever either, had the throttle lead snap on me and the starter motor break. Overall, not a bad bike, don't buy it if you are looking for speed. I'll be glad to see mine gone to be honest.

If you want a fast ped then dont get a jog because they are not good to tune. They are good on acceleration with light rollers but other peds will catch up. I can probably get 55 out of mine downhill but uphill it only goes 30.

It's a good little commuter to and from work and your mate's houses, it also good for little missions, but would advise lookinh into other bikes like the Peugeot Speedfight and the Piaggio NRG.

I was given this bike as a courtesy bike as my old bike written off in a smash up. At first I thought it was quite nippy, but after a while I got fed up of going everywhere at 30mph and I couldn't derestrict it as it wasn't mine. This bike overheats way too quickly so you lose the acceleration, top hill speed is reduced further, and up hill speed is reduced to about 10mph, dangerously slow. It would make a good bike with a bit of tuning.
