The Herb and Spice in Dukinfield is a fantastic place to go. We went last weekend for my friends 40th Birthday and there were 25 of us there ranging in age from 11 months to 65 years! The atmosphere was brilliant and it was sooo cheap. For myself, my husband and my 7 year old daughter it was £29.00. We had a really pleasant evening and we are in fact going back there this evening, just the three of us :) xxx

Top notch food from Herb and Spice, Dukinfield. They are the best in NW and probably in the UK!

I've become a regular at Herb and Spice in Dukinfield in the last few years.
My first visit was a family get-together. Having never visited an indian restaurant outside the Manchester Curry Mile I wasn't sure what to expect. It was much better than imagined. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is consistently excellent and the reataurant itself very nicely decorated.
Visits to Herb and Spice have become a regular fixture for my birthday, with friends just as keen to go there as I am. We've also made use of their takeaway service more than once.
In fact, last time we made a visit for my birthday, the staff became aware of it and not only was our group presented with a huge peshwari naan bread with the chef's compliments, I was given a small birthday card from the staff!
I think it goes a long way when staff at a restaurant just go that little bit further to make your visit that bit nicer. Certainly with everyone I know they've done this, so almost everyone I know in the same area likes Herb & Spice, and I cannot recall a bad word having been said about them!

Herb and Spice offer excellent food, much better then any of the so called best curry houses in Manchester. Parking can be a problem, but parking can be found over the road.

You will not be disappointed by the Herb and Spice Indian restaurant!!!

This restaurant is the best we've found for Indian food in Tameside! And as if the food wasn't enough the customer service and the staff are simply amazing. The people that manage this place and work here are first class professionals but still they know a very familiar and informal way of treating you. Great all round. The food has never ever been disappointing and we've been here well over 20 times. We always return for those 2 reasons: the food and the staff!

Good menu with large variety of starters, standard curry dishes and delicious chef specialities! Also good choice of drinks! We've found there's something for everyone and there's plenty of different dishes in each category of spicyness.

The decor could do with an update, but as soon as you taste the food (and the lovely draught Cobra), the decor floats far to the back of your mind.

Definitely -highly- recommended!

At the Herb and Spice the food tastes so good and for the money its amazing. The staff are so friendly they make you want to come back to see them again, everything's good prices and everything makes you want to complement the chef again and again. I cant wait to go back already.
The interior could do with a bit of livening up but everything isclean and nice, I'm not saying its boring inside.
Definitely recommend it to a friend.

I have heard many positive points about Herb and Spice, so one Saturday night our family decided to give it a try. We booked earlier in the evening and arrived around 8.30pm. Although we had booked, we were seated in the waiting area, where we ordered our drinks whilst waiting for the table. After approx 20 mins we were seated.

The menu had plenty of choice, ranging from the basic to speciality dishes. The staff were very effiecent and helpful, they were able to describe tastes and textures.

The food is well presented and full of flavour and there is plenty too! I would definitley recommend this restaurant to any curry connoisseur!
