Works well, boils fast, looks great. Nice size and shape. Needs to be on the market.

I have had this kettle for going on 7 years and have no problems at all with it. I get lots of compliments on it's style and would really like to buy another since this one is white and doesn't match my newly designed kitchen. I'm looking for the black handle one now. So,Prestige! Where can I find one?

we enjoyed the kettle at the onset but over time the electrical connections failed rendering it useless. Wish I could find out how to have it replaced.

I don't understand people having trouble with this Prestige kettle. Mine works well and I have been using it many times a day since more than 2 years! I want to buy another one to offer as a gift and found out about this review on Internet. Liz

A fine product spoilt by poor design of the lid catch. I have had 2 fail now once they break the lid will not stay down and the auto switch off when boiling does not function. Not a cheap product and useless once the little catches break off! Can not recommend.

We didt want a plastic or metal bodied kettle so was really pleased to find this one readily available. But soon the plastic lugs which lock the lid down deformed then stopped working so the steam would escape and scald you or the lid would fall off when you poured. The kettle wasn't particularly cheap and 90% of its construction was fine, however, it was let down by a cheap and shoddy design fault. I have looked for a replacement lid but cant seem to find one as this would rectify it far more cheaply than a replacement kettle. This is one of those times where I wish I had taken out the replacement insurance.

I loved this Prestige 1.7l Cordless Glass kettle and after accidently breaking it, I cannot find a replacement. It boils fast and quiet and looks great in the kitchen. My kids enjoyed watching the little "physics" that was visible through the glass.

Great design but the unit failed, making me not recommend this Prestige 1.7l Cordless Glass Kettle. Furthermore the thermostat takes to long to cut out once boiling is achieved which wastes energy.
