Red Faction

Where to start? Red Faction is a First Person Shooter, with a revolutionary combat engine with Geo-Mod technology. That means you can blow holes in stuff (walls and such) in real time. Sometimes, you can even find secrets hidden behind walls after an accidental discharge from a Rocket Launcher! It's great! The single player mode follows the story of a miner working for an evil corporation, who sees a guard beating another miner. He is left with the choice of kill or be killed. Great stuff, then. There is also a multiplayer mode, either player vs. player or player vs. bots. Very good for practice for the one player mode, or for beating your 'friends'.
