“BEWARE DO NOT REFUND!”

BEWARE getting nowhere with a refund from Moss Bros, just being asked 101 questions and no mention of when I will be refunded. They keep saying I have been refunded when I have not been FULLY refund, still owed over £250!

“Avoid Moss at all costs”

I tried to exchange a pair of trousers (bought as part of a full suit) and thus entered a 3 month ordeal of attempting to track the elusive Moss Bros customer service team. An epic quest unfolded as I sought answers from anyone loosely affiliated with Moss, but alas, that pesky customer service team was always one step ahead - ducking and dodging calls & emails at every turn. Finally, 3 months later, a haggard and weathered version of this weary, suitless traveller cornered a customer agent. Like a James Bind villain outlining their plans already in motion, the agent cackled that the item was now out of stock. And now, I begin a new adventure, in the hope of seeking a refund. My hopes are low. Journey on curious soul. If you are reading this, much better suit suppliers await you far from the evil grasps of Moss Bros.

This morning we held a photoshoot for a bride & groom who sadly didn't get any photos on their wedding day, due to the groom being taken ill. I contacted Moss Bros following the original wedding, asking if they'd consider loaning the grooms suit again, which they very kindly agreed to, completely free of charge. So, I'd like to thank Moss Bros for helping our bride and groom to re-enact their wedding day, so they could get the photos which they deserved!

“Don't bother”

Spent over an hour trying to hire a suit online - kept returning errors despite all information being filled out. Then tried to go into the Croydon store to hire the suit, 3 staff on the shop floor, 1 serving a customer, and I was told to wait 10 minutes to be seen! Went to Debenhams, far better service

“Great product but let down by poor disinterested staff”

Went to Bluewater store to buy suit for son. Staff disinterested unprofessional and lacking any sales advice or support. Purchased a suit which needed trouser alteration which I paid for. When went to collect said item on the day and time requested was told it was not ready till the following day. No apology or explanation other than one sales advisor saying the alteration team were too lazy to do it. On my insistence that they were to honor the agreement made, they subsequently returned with the altered item. Which leads me to believe that neither sales staff or alteration staff could be bothered to look for it. Disgraceful service. Such a shame great products but will definitely not be returning to Moss Bros!!!!

Had a very good experience choosing and getting measured up for suit hire for a wedding. Rough estimate was given online and so the sizes were in the shop for trying on. Final measurements were taken and everything from then on went smoothly. The staff at Ealing Broadway were friendly. helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. Liked that we could try on the style as they ordered in large sizes which they don't always stock.

“Complete and utter shambles”

Sloppy measuring at first session. Only one of five suits fitted first time. Replacement suits only available after 3.00 pm two days before wedding. One suit inadvertently returned to warehouse. One tie had a black felt tip mark on front. Supposed to be sending missing suit to venue tomorrow, won't hold my breath!! Whatever you do DON'T use Moss Bros.

Due to family coming from Wales and Bradford we chose Moss Bros on recommendation of a friend even though she had had a few issues with her order. The measuring appointments went well both in the Bradford and the Cardiff stores. All suits were delivered 4 days before the wedding. All suits fit apart from the grooms shirt so he had to have the top button open as it was too uncomfortable to wear buttoned up and the waistcoat was a bit short. We were also informed that the shirts had buttons on the cuffs and didn't need cuff links but when i went to collect the shirts they required cuff links so i had to pay for the hire but they did reimburse this a month after the wedding. All in all lovely suits and looked lovely in the photos. Hope I have a good chance in winning my suit hire back i thought it was great incentive to get reviews and feedback.

“Total Failure, should have listened to our friends...”

After being warned by a friend not to use Moss Bros for wedding suit hire, we decided to go ahead. As the family were split between Oxford and Wakefield we found a branch in each city, Oxford branch at Carfax .and X.Cape outlet Castleford. Staff at both branches were helpful at the initial measure up stage, after that it went down hill fast. There were mix ups with measurements between stores, a complete communication breakdown. The groom duly picked up the suits from the Castleford outlet Thursday 13th April assuming all was ok. How wrong could he have been, shirts/trousers/jackets both adult and child were either to small or to large. The groom on visiting/contacting the Castlford branch was confronted by an extremely arrogant member of staff who's prompt reply was we cant do anything about it as it is Good Friday. Both sister's of the groom had to purchase new child white shirts/trousers from the local Morrisons at cost, the brides father had to drive from Wakefield to Castleford as luckily there was a pair of trousers off the peg in his size. All in all rubbish service/staff and will be demanding some recompense, WATCH THIS SPACE. Father of the groom. OXFORD

We were recommended the store by friends.We visited the Swindon Outlet Store on Sunday 9th April.After entering we browsed for a minute or two ,after which we were approached by a lady who asked if we needed any help.From then on nothing was to much trouble for her.She spent a lot of time with us ,finding the correct fit and size suit for me,i then tried on a few shirts .As well as buying a Ted Baker suit i purchased a shirt and tie.The customer service i received was excellent .She was very professional and is a credit to your store and company

“Tuxes for wedding.”

I went to Moss Bros without an idea of what type of tuxes me and my brothers wanted for my wedding but was assisted by the lovely assistant at their Oxford branch who helped in picking out the perfect style for my big day. I then got my brothers to come in for sizing and the orders were made. There was a bit of a communication problem on when the tuxes were going to be in so I popped in and was assisted by the manager, who handled the matter professionally and assured me that the tuxes be ready for my big day. And true too his word, I picked up my tuxes two days before the event and I returned them the next day. I was really pleased with the service I received from the team in Oxford, Thank you very much.

“RUDE, UNHELPFUL, APPALING”

We are not awkward people but 2 of us and wives went in to get a fitting for my daughters wedding to sum up Rude, Disinterested, Inept staff in fact I thought we where being filmed for a stunt simply THE WORST SERVICE WE HAVE EVER RECEIVED also we are very worried as so many mistakes where made on the paperwork if we will ever get the suits AVOID MOSS BROSS AT ALL COSTS CUSTOMER SERVICE DID NOT EVEN PHONE ME BACK

Found whole experience very easy all the way through from viewing to fitting to collecting and returning. The staff were very friendly and professional at Milton Keynes where we got the suits and at Northampton when mine was returned. The suits were immaculate and looked fantastic on the wedding photos. Just returned all of the suits from my Son's wedding last week-end. From the minute we had our first appointment, the service we received was second to none. All the staff were friendly and helpful and knowledgable. We had email reminders nearer the wedding date keeping us informed etc. I would certainly recommend Moss Bros for wedding suits.

This morning I went to the St John's hill branch of Moss Bross. as I am quite tall and big the sales assistant spent a lot of time running up and down the stairs trying to get a suit that would fit me. NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR HER ! this lady gave outstanding coustmer service. I would recommend this branch to anyone and all of my friends. thank you.

I had to hire a DJ for a Black Tie event and popped into the Moss Hire shop in Plymouth. From start to finish the service I received was excellent. The reminder the next day to return the suit was appreciated and when the DJ was returned the staff member was friendly and courteous. I felt my business mattered and I would use them again. The store was inviting and the staff were knowledgeable. There was no issue of stock availability even though I was 2 days from the event.

Hired a tuxedo from the Norwich store. Nothing was to much trouble and staff were very helpful. Would 100% recommend. The French connection tux was excellent quality along with the wait coast and shirt. Staff in the hire department were excellent and very friendly. Staff make the shop and both members are a credit to miss bros.

“Great Ted Baker suits”

We ordered 5 Ted Baker suits for our wedding on 28/8, they were ready early, a week before the collection date which was great! This gave everyone time to try them on as we had people from different parts of the U.K. Joining us. We found that two didn't fit very well. That would be my only criticism that when measured it was quickly done and a full suit wasn't tried on, however With a call to our Local Reading store the lady happily ordered what needed to be changed and we were able to collect it the next day. Easy and hassle free! Her calm attitude put me at ease as it was 2 days before the wedding and I had visions of my dad without a waistcoat or shirt that fitted! Excellent customer service and easy to return! The only thing I would add is that the store members should communicate between each other as the lady I spoke to on the telephone wasn't there when we collected so it took a bit of time for them to work out where they were. They were Beautiful suits even though expensive but totally worth it and would use the service again The lady in store also told us to write a review to win our cost back so fingers crossed for money towards our honeymoon pot!
