Went with a friend to Nirvana Beach Hotel and we loved it. The staff worked so hard and were all so friendly and polite. The hotel was clean and very pretty. We really enjoyed the food, we hated the other English people moaning that they weren't being catered for. How can a hotel cater different meals for each nationality that is visiting. We went all inclusive and it was great value, endless amounts of plain but delicious food, we didn't intend to come back for all meals but ended up doing that cause the food was so nice. The views are spectacular, the area is very pretty, its a 30 minute bus ride to Rhodes from Rhodes you can get a bus to Lindos which is a must visit. You can get a bus from the main road and they are very frequent, so you get the best of both worlds you can go out to the busier areas then come back to relax in the peaceful atmosphere at Nirvana, thanks for a great holiday

I was at Nirvana Beach Hotel with my mate in May we both enjoyed it much, mostly enjoyed the sunset from our balcony every single afternoon, cleanliness, reading books and resting at the swimming pool..
The all inclusive was very good too, not known brands ofcourse but everything was fresh, of plenty amount and tasty.
Staff was also nice, polite and without "fixed" behaviour. I experienced this at some cafeterias of the region and at Rodos town and it was really irritating, felt underestimated.
I would return there again, hoping to make it in September, otherwise next year.

Malnutrition, vile food, all inclusive programme is a joke, miserable staff; on the plus side it ' s cheap, the maids are ace and the sun shines all day long!
Just returned from Tholos, Nirvana Beach Hotel, mixed thoughts really, good points and bad points really. Hotel looks nothing like the photographs, but as the week wore on I began to enjoy the pool which was empty most days and peaceful. The rooms basic, but metrically clean, the maids change towels and sheets daily, there is aircon too, but you have to pay for this as an extra.
The pool area is very small, but never busy and very relaxing and great for reading but lethal for young children. It ' s breezy and near the beach which is nothing special, Tholos is nothing special really, a good base for exploring though.
The all inclusive menu was a joke; breakfast was cornflakes, musli or choc things, milk, honey, yoghurt, toast, various bread rolls, butter, jam, ham, cheese, boiled eggs and cucumber, arranged as a buffet. Breakfast was not too bad, dinner and tea, oh my god I didn ' t eat anything nice but salad, feta cheese and fruit. I am a vegetarian and wasn ' t catered for once; they even made pizza and put ham on it knowing I was veggie! I asked, sweetly, every single night for a hot veggie option as I couldn ' t eat anymore Greek salad, but no. In a way I was glad because what they did serve was cold and looked like sick, on the odd occasion there was rice, boiled potato, sweetcorn and various sorts of veg fried with egg, yuk.
Another problem was you couldn ' t have a drink before 10.30 apart from coffee, tea and that with breakfast and you had to pay for anything after 22.30. The juices were made from powder and tasted like undiluted cordial, the coke tasted like syrup, the local lemonade was good. The beer was amstel and served with a giant head and choice of other drinks was poor. About 4 basic cocktails, 6 spirits, you had to pay for brandy and special coffees, even local ones and you couldn't use the coffee machine after 18.30, so no after dinner coffee!
All the staff speak German and there is plenty of information in the hotel, but it is only any good if you can read German or Dutch, they really don ' t cater for the English.
I went to Mikes every night to eat, its next to the hotel and mega lovely food, cheap and free wireless internet. Good bus access to the whole island, so all in all I had a good holiday, but I won ' t go back to this hotel or resort.

The hotel was quiet, clean and friendly. Apparently the ownership of the hotel has changed for the 2007 season, which was the bartender's explanation for the poor quality of the food and drink. There was no brandy or tonic water and on asking for a slice of lemon in my drink, I was told they did not have any! We had seen them on the trees in the village!

Our holiday to the Nirvana Beach hotel in Tholos, Rhodes, was a great holiday, minus the bartender. It is in a great location, and there were lots of friendly people. The maids were spotless, and the food was good!

Everyone at the Nirvana Beach Hotel in Rhodes was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were cleaned every day by friendly helpful ladies.
The climate was brilliant with the wind off the sea, and I could keep cool and comfortable, and my wife could sun herself by the pool, so we had the best of both worlds.
I found the food to be great, if somewhat at times odd combinations. Snacks were available all day, as were drinks, and at all times that happy friendly service. You can also get a packed lunch on request if you're out and about.
Myself and my wife had what you want from a holiday - relaxation, sun, good people and no stress!
We would go again tomorrow if it were possible. We had a brilliant holiday, met loads of very lovely people, and we would have no problem in recommending it to other people.

We had a lovely holiday at Nirvana Beach Hotel in May 2005 with our two very adult children - the first time in 12 years!
From the moment of our arrival at 3am in the morning til when we left the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Extremely clean. Local beach a bit windy most days but we travelled out every day to the East side of the island where the beaches were glorious.
The local village had all your requirements and a handful of Restaurants and bars. We used NIKOS most nights due to a good menu of Greek dishes and plentiful local wine.
We would recommend the Hotel to anyone and would happily return.

Brochure stated that Tholos resort was small and friendly and they didn't disappoint. The Nirvana Beach Hotel was situated approx 75 - 100m from the beach front which meant a glorious breeze from the sea. The town centre was a short 10 - 15 min walk away where you could find excellent restaurants and bars. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff of this hotel and children were especially welcome. Even the night watchman bought our daughter a leaving present. Flights were limited to two days a week which compensated for being under the flight path.
We will certainly be visiting again!
