Everything was perfect. I have stayed in Bulgaria before. This hotel Victoria Palace is the best by far! I felt so safe at this hotel it was brilliant. Everything about the hotel was brilliant you must stay here if its your first time at Bulgaria. Bad point, it costs a lot to keep the hotel room on before your flight.

I stayed here in 2005 with my partner and my son I think this hotel is by far the best i have been too ok the food was not great but it is so cheap to eat out we were not that worried. You could not get a sunbed by the pool but as the beach is just down the steps we were not that upset about it. We went on a lovely boat trip to nessebar and loved walking and looking at the stalls at night (it is a womans paradise) We loved this holiday so much we are going back again this year and we know it is going to be just as good if not better than last time. I would definately recommend to anyone.

I had a lovely holiday at the Victoria Palace Hotel in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria. I was not looking forward to going after reading the comments people had written about this hotel, but it was great! The food was lovely, and it was never cold. The room I had was massive. I asked for a larger standard room, which surprisingly was given to me at no extra cost, and it was massive!! The staff were not horrible! They were very busy all the time, especially in the dinner hall. I could not find anything at all to moan about, and I would certainly go back again. The location was perfect.

I stayed at the Victoria Palace Hotel in Sunny Beach with 5 other friends in June 2006, and I can say with certainty that it's the most impressive hotel I have ever stayed in. I read reviews prior to going, and I was a bit put off, but just ignore the people who moan about not enough coffee cups or not enough sunbeds. Admittedly, lunch time and breakfast is a bit busy, and we did struggle ONCE finding a table, but it's not enough to warrant the moaning that some people do. And yes, there is a sunbed shortage, as we never managed to get one, and I get up early, but who cares? The beach is right there and they have sunbeds. You do have to pay 6 Lev each per day, but again, I never let that spoil my holiday.

Overall, the hotel with its facilities is a bargain. The money you would pay in the UK to stay in a hotel that nice would be double what we paid. There is no entertainment for kids, and no nightly entertainment in the hotel, but I'm sure you could find it elsewhere. It's not as cheap as we were told. I think everyone is jumping on the band wagon and upped the prices. If you go to Nezzabar though, it is dirt cheap there.

I found the staff to be OK, and the men would love the outfits the waitresses wear. I personally think they look a bit cheap, and they always look cold. I would say though, in the pool bar we found a wonderful bar man who speaks the best English, and he really is a friendly and decent chap.

The weather though was pretty nasty. We arrived in the early hours of Saturday, and Saturday, Sunday and up until 2pm on Monday was nice, but after that we had rain, thunder and clouds everywhere. It has put me off going in June again. I would return to Sunny Beach, and I would definitely stay in the VP, but if you're a sun lover, beware of going before July. Oh, I would like to say also, that the food served in the hotel was always hot, with a good selection, and it was never the same night after night. Great hotel! Definitely worth a look!

The Victoria Palace Hotel in Bulgaria is wonderful, and it has now totally spoilt me to say the least. I will definitely be returning soon!

The hotels location is super. It is right on the front, fab view, wonderful bedrooms large and extremely tidy, and well cleaned every day. The chambermaids were wonderful. The hotels foyer was second to nothing (never seen anything like it), all they did all day was clean and yet more cleaning. The swimming pools were wonderful, the bar's were fab and so well themed, and the food was excellent. There was so much of it to select from at breakfast and dinner each night.

The Victoria Palace Hotel in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria is a great base for a Bulgarian beach Holiday. It is just outside the centre and directly opposite the beach. A sea view makes the perfect room. I stayed here with my Wife and our two young girls, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Tourism plays a massive part in Bulgarian life, and I have found the people to be very friendly and trustworthy. If I have a problem it is with holidaymakers who turn up knowing nothing of Bulgaria and expecting the same deal as somewhere they have been before. It's a real shame when people complain because they have to wait a minute for a top up of food on the breakfast buffet.

The Victoria Palace is wow, once we got to know the staff we had a great time, I can't fault it in anyway, I am so looking forward to going back next year, it was the best hotel and holiday I have ever had.
