We spent a week of honeymoon at the Shangri-La Hotel and had a rare old time. The rooms are very spacious and luxurious, with wonderful views from the higher floors. If offered, take up the upgrade to the Sky Club. At £25 per room per night extra it is extremely good value, high quality food and unlimited drinks from a help yourself bar in the evenings. The pool was relaxing and the health spa invigorating. Even the evening lobby cabaret was so bad it was hilarious.

The Shangri-La Hotel is a modern, well equipped high rise hotel offering real luxury at budget prices. The restaurant serves a spectacular breakfast of foods from all over the world. It's dinners defy description.
It was almost impossible to spend money in Kuala Lumpar as everything was unbelievably cheap including the hotel, only £55.00 a night for the room and breakfast

If you upgrade to club horizon rooms for about £2 extra a night you get free breakfast afternoon tea and evening cocktails, you are also on one of the top floors with wonderful views.
