It Is Good At What It Does.

The Kenwood Icecream Machine arrived on schedule. No problems putting it together I mean it's an insulated freezer bowl, motor & detachable paddle. The bowl itself is on the bulky side but it certainly keeps the liquid 'custard' cold/frozen.

Love To Make Ice-cream

On those nights when you just want the desert, I enjoy making ice cream. When I make it, my cousins enjoy it too. We just have fun making it and eating it.

Tayyabs

i have visited Tayyabs and enjoyed the food. After a week, I searched on internet but They did not deliver. I really did not want to leave the house and wanted Tayyabs. When i checked on some web sites I saw that they had different menu to what tayyabs had in the restaurant. But then my friend told me about MySalivation.com - My Salivation Delivers. I ordered food from them for delivery from tayyabs and it was just what I wanted. :) very happy I can order now, given the weather has been so bad. ;)

Kenwood Im200 0.8 Litre 6-8w

I was given a Kenwood IM200 by a friend of mine when I moved into my new apartment. I use it almost every day ever since, and I can't imagine my kitchen without it.

Lovely Little Machine

We were given one of these as a family present, a fantastic idea which we will likely copy and give to other people. It works just as it says and has nice recipe leaflet that comes with it. We have had a lot of fun making our own ice creams and sorbets. I would say though its not terribly big, as a family of seven we have to make two batches but the machine does stay frozen long enough to accommodate this.

Most recipes use fresh cream so although nice to have homemade its obviously not as kind to your figure as the shop bought light version ice creams

Disapointed, Instruction Is Not Correct

Bought mine just yes2day, wanted to try it str8 away. read the instruction, it says keep bowl of the ice cream maker in the freezer for 24 hours before use with temperature -18 C or below. put bowl into freezer. in evening made the base for vanilla ice-cream (time consuming!!!), 18 hours afret putting the bowl into freezer I decided to make the ice-cream. Got bowl out, put the lid on, turned it on, poured ice-cream mixture into the ice-cream maker, a minute later paddle got stuck and stopped rotating. it can not coap with ice-cream building on the side of bowl, can not scrape it good enough to prevent of building too much that its not possible to scrape it off the sides even with knife! I turned it off and by the time I managed to get the lid off (its a real torcher!!!) it was already about 6 mm thick coating of solid frozen ice-cream on the sides of the bowl. Nightmare to scrape it off!!! will not give up so easy, will try to leave bowl in freezer for only a coupple of hours b4 using, not to let it cool down too much. Also will try a simple way (all ready-made ingredients) to make ice-cream next time (a tin of cheapest custard (tesco, sainsbury, asda, lidl) + double cream + vanilla extract = mix it all up and into ice-cream maker. if you make a proper vanilla ice-cream it will turn out to be as good as Haagen-Daz but it will not be any cheaper!!! another hint - make 4-5 portions of ice-cream in one go because it will take at least 2 hours for the bowl to get defrosted, in that time you will make 5 litres of ice-cream, all different flavours. save the tubs from yogurts - you will get individual portions by filling them up with your ice-cream. I made vanilla ice-cream exactly the way it was said in the recipe book and it gave me 3 small yogurt pots!!! its not worth even bothering your head!
