I have to agree with the last review. I remember when bid-alot started and the excitement at a fair approach and fresh ideas by the "then" owner which benefited buyers and sellers alike. The site used to have 24/7 friendly live support and a lively userbase and items did sell daily. The site I believe was sold which seemed to destroy everything the site was about. Various posts are viewable on various auction community forums about its decline and lack of professionalism by its new owners. Seems a shame as I would of put money on bid-alot being a success story before its takeover.

Bid Alot was a great online auction site, but it looks like it is going down the wrong path with a new owner. New fees are supposedly voluntary. Pages no longer open quickly, and it has crashed several times while I was searching.

Gee, the good points say it all. If you are tired of the smashing, bashing, energy draining, security-less, phoney buyers, phoney credits, faulty and suprising billing of the other sites then join Bid-alot.com.
1. Sign on bonus to get you started with enhancements or selling commissions.
2. Hands on management.. no auto-pilot here, 24/7 live support, administration active on community boards, prompt responses by admin or members for help, suggestions, or other general discussions.
3. Free to list, add pics, basic image hosting, small fees for enhancements and final value fees.
4. No crazy billing cycles or suprise billing, everything is pay as you go.
5. Sponsored Contests... win credits for sellers or cash for bidders. And... randomly held free front page listings weekends.
6. All members are PayPal verified. No need to wait forever for the post to deliver money orders or checks.
7. Easy to use, navigate, even for the beginner user. The proof is in the community forum with how many ask for assistance.
8. Security minded... Fraud will not be tolerated.
I am not an employee of Bid-alot, but am a trader and active on the community forums. Therefore, I probably am a bit biased, but am truely reporting my experiences on Bid-alot. Know this, I wouldn't post an untrue review. My approval and association with any site is important as it is my word and recommendation. So yes, Bid-alot has the Mojavelyn Seal of Approval. I do recommend this site.

Bid-Alot.com is a pleasant, fast-loading auction site which seems to be growing fast and run by responsible humans.
Cheaper commissions with no listing charges mean you can't really lose. This site has my vote.
