Wow Lloyds I am so impressed. I realised one hour ago that my card had been cloned, in that hour my card has been blocked, fraud department have sussed who took my money and refund on its way. Thank you Lloyds.

had a query with some charges on my account having recently moved from a Graduate account. They instantly responded to my query and resolved it immediately. Best service I've received from any company in a long time! Excellent!

No problems overall as a long term customer but just wish they offered better mortgage products with competitive rates!

Having banked with Lloyds for over 25 years and, to be fair, had very few issues over that time, I am absolutely disgusted at the appalling way they have treated customers in relation to the transfer of accounts over to the newly-formed TSB brand. I have had a several terse conversations with a number of call-centre staff, as well as the main branch in Gentleman's Walk in Norwich. Without fail I have been treated with a mixture of rudeness, arrogance, disinterest, lack of professionalism/honesty and total incompetence, especially by the branch mentioned in Norwich city centre. Although my wish was to remain with Lloyds after the split I was beginning to wonder why. I never thought it possible in 21st century Britain that a bank could treat its customers with such contempt - how wrong I was! Lloyds need to listen to their customers - and sooner rather than later. However, I went into my usual Lloyds TSB branch yesterday - Unthank Road in Norwich, which is due to become a TSB branch, and I am so glad that I did. I was very fortunate to speak to the Personal Banking Manager who was the first person I have dealt with since this 'transfer' debacle started who was willing to listen, empathise, be totally honest and speak to me like a valued customer, to the point where I have chosen to allow my account to move over to TSB. After a lot of stress caused by the lousy customer service from call centres and the other branch mentioned, it made a massive difference to have some reassurance from someone who is customer-focused, honest, polite and competent......and who will no doubt be an asset to the new brand in the future. There was no pressure at all from him to move over to TSB and indeed, there was no need for any pressure as his whole demeanour, attitude and professionalism were enough to persuade me that I would be foolish to remain with Lloyds. If I were scoring the previous levels of customer service, there would be no stars at all for the call centres or the branch mentioned earlier - but this guy deserves all five stars. I'm grateful that he's saved me so much hassle and hope that his line managers read this review. It's a shame that there are not more like him out there - far more experienced managers have a lot to learn from him. Many thanks.

The advisors at the Leeds branch have been so helpful. They extended my overdraft and provided me with helpful tips that meant I was given the most competitive rates on my savings. I understand that from reading a lot of the reviews I am of the opinion that more people should move to the Leeds branch.

I live near this bank ( SK6 ). My wife is Thai and also has an account. The staff have always been helpful, friendly and sorted out any issues speedily. The staff at this branch seem to enjoy working there which I believe helps. Thanks to Christine the Manager for sorting out our recent issues. We are very lucky to have this bank near to where we live.

I have banked with Lloyds all my life and can honestly say they have been very professional and helpful in my experience. Not perfect by any means, as they stopped an overdraft once when they saw i was using it regularly with no real notice. But aside that, they have always been hassle free and understanding.

Llyodds tsb are a great bank they may not be quick to lend you money but that is because that are a responsible lender
I have 3 accounts and a credit card with them
recently I did try to get a loam but was refused so I tried yes loans who scammed me out of a £69.90 fee for there services whilst promising me a £2000 loan. The same evening yes phoned and said I can't have a loan but can have a debt management plan which I do not want even though I made this very clear they still tried to take £200 a month from me using my debit card details I gave to yes loans not money worrys. Tsb were very quick to stop this happening they stopped my card immediatly and have put notes to ensure this company never costs me another penny they are also trying to recover the £69.90 as this was only paid on the promise of a loan in 3 days
tsb were extremely helpfull and they could not be faulted and no I don't work for them I'm a taxi driver

Lloyds TSB are the best bank ever!!! I have my first bank account ever with them and it is great, they are friendly in branch (kudos to the Downham Market branch, you rock). Card came relatively soon and with quite little fuss, great interest rate on my 'Under 19s Account' at 2.50%.
Only problem was they kept getting my cashcard getting mixed up with a proper VISA Debit card when sending it so their system kept rejecting it becuase I'm under-aged; however a few friendly phone calls direct to my branch later and it was sorted. Great bank and I would strongly recommend you go with them.

I few months back I opened a Lloyds TSB account and found the staff to be polite and very accommodating. Although this may be down to the up market location of the branch. I have not had any problems so far.

Can only speak as I find - despite the number of negative reviews on this site! I have been with them ever since I was a student - over 40 yrs ago. Have had a current a/c all of that time, and a couple of mortgages over the years - even house & car insurance at times (were a bit dear, after the first year!).
Currently also have fixed rate ISA, Monthly Saver and E-saver a/cs - all pretty competitive. (But major funds are elsewhere, for higher rates, esp on instant access (Coventry BS) and Bonds (Close Bros,Cahoot, Post Office, etc).
Internet banking works great - and can access staff at local branch, even by phone, who are very helpful. Would definitely recommend Lloyds TSB!

Very impressed
After getting much disappointment from abbey I decided to open an account with Lloyds, they were very helpful, it only took 10 mins to open an account and they sent me my visa debit with 24 hours, their customer care is very friendly and helpful, highly recommend for all ages

There seem to be a number of people on here complaining about this account without anyone being able to look at the bigger picture. Yes Lloyds, like any other bank, want you to go over your overdraft limit. That's how they make their money, but that's how an awful lot of banks make their money.
With regards to the telephone services I don't think I've ever been waiting more than 10 minutes. I've got accounts with three other banks and all of them have telephone services a hundred times worse. I appreciate that people don't like waiting at all but for a free service I think 10 minutes is reasonable. Yes you do sometimes get passed around a couple of people but this is the same with all banks, and it's only for security checks and to make sure you speak to someone who's trained to talk to you regarding the exact questions you have.
I have never had a problem with Lloyds in the years I've been using them. They are the only bank who I trust 100% with my money.

The staff in Lloyds TSB have always been very helpful to us. My husband has been with Lloyds for 20 years and myself ten years in that time we have had a daughter who has needed to have heart operations and she has from time to time been very ill. My husband has had to have lots off time off work and when you have a sick child your finances can end up that way to. So I just want to say well done to Lloyds when we have needed help they have been there.
