“Worst fitting contacts ever”

★☆☆☆☆

written by JustBad80 on 12/02/2024

I bought these contacts thinking it would be nice to give my blue eyes a little pop of color. For one they hardly changed my color but the biggest complaint is how uncomfortable they are! They slide around my eye and turn my eyes red! I have tried color contacts before and I have had no problem with the comfort. I feel like I have sand in my eyes and they move around. They look really horrible with my eyes all red. I used a new pair and it happened the first time. These contacts are so much money and are horrible. I will Never recommend these to Anyone. What a waste of money for 4 contacts. I don't know why people are giving good reviews? All I can say is save your money and go through a different brand.

“See through "colour"”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Brookelynne on 18/10/2021

Tried these contacts in two different shades of blue. Both shades look okay-ish in the bottle, but in the eyes they're COMPLETELY SEE THROUGH!!! NO HINT OF BLUE AT ALL! If anything they accentuate the disgusting muddy brown of the natural eye. The only reason they get a single star from me is that they can be ordered in accurate sizes for smaller eyes.

“Worst”

written by on 13/03/2017

When I opened the sealed cover for the first time the lens was torn. Even the shopkeeper is not taking back the lens again. I have not even used the lens once. Worst experience. Finally I was wasted the money on the worst product.

“HORRIBLE!!!!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by CarlieCrabtree on 23/10/2016

I've worn contacts forever. Tried this brand because they stopped making my old ones in color. Got them from the eye doctor. They were not cheap. While they were in they were okay. A little scratchy. When I took them out I felt like needles were poking me for 2 days. Vision blurry. Thought it was the solution. Tried 3 different solutions with new contacts for months. Same thing everytime. I have never ever had any eye issues with contacts. These things are CRAP!!!!

“Scratchy, Shifting, Blurry Mess!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by 152Hardy on 14/04/2015

I thought that I would give these a go as they appeared to be a good brand and I wanted to try a different colour. They are terrible contact lenses and I wish that I had just bought my normal brand. My normal brand go straight in and I'm off. The first time I put the freshlook colourblend contacts in they shifted around terribly and every time I blink I look plain bizarre, as the lens shifts up when my eyes close and then falls back into position as my eyes open. I look like some sort of weird robot! At least my friends got a laugh when I showed them! No amount of waiting, fiddling or eye drops would make the problem go away entirely with some movement even 30 minutes after I put them in. The edges also feel scratchy which worried me so I just took them out. I didn't even bother wasting a lens case on these, straight in the bin. I wasn't too fussed with the colour either, but that could be put down to personal preference. I tried the gemstone green. I already have green eyes, but my other brand makes them really pop. These had a real yellow feel to them and did not look natural in my opinion. Some may really like the colour, I just prefer more green and less yellow.

“A horrible experience”

★☆☆☆☆

written by BeeDeeEs on 05/08/2014

With 4 people in our household wanting to wear contacts, I thought I would be the guinea pig to try the "cheap brand". Within the hour, I felt sick to my stomach. From reading the reviews, I assume that was because the contacts move so much on the eye. I agree, the contact is flimsy! I didn't wear them long enough for them to rip, but I can see how they would do so, easily. Fortunately I was able to return the unopened box and reorder my normal Acuvue Oasis. I am disappointed that such a horrible contact lens is even being sold through ClearlyContacts, a company which I have been very happy purchasing from. I should have read reviews before purchasing! Buyer Beware!

I just brought a pair of Hazel contacts at first glance once I removed one from package they are super thin like paper and it kept bending even once in my eye very uncomfortable then I went to the send eye once out of the package I noticed it was torn on the side they are cheap in quality never again! I'll stick to my Hollywood lenses they are durable

“The WORST EVER BRAND worldwide!!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 28/10/2013

What I liked? Price. What I didn't like? Everything else! I bought freshlook lenses last year and tried it on , it was soooo uncomfortable as it is too soft to sit on the right place, it keeps moving around and even goes at the back of ur eyes!!! As you blink, the lenses just lose its texture and gets folded in ur eyes!! it is a distastrous product!! I threw my new freshlook lenses in less than 20 minutes as i went crazy! This year, my best friend bought freshlook and she threw it in less than 10 minutes. I have been using contact lenses for more than 15 years and i tried 5 brands which were all good, but this one was a scandal!!!

“uncomfortable”

★☆☆☆☆

written by fari786 on 12/06/2013

I started wearing this it makes my eyes really very tired and very uncomfortable, moves a lot and doesn't stick to eye easily. I don't like it. I would prefer any other brand over this. it gives me very hard time, moves a lot and feels very dry. The colors are fine but the lens itself very uncomfortable. I wish I would have not spend my money by preordering too many.

Blurred Vision, Dryness and Totally Uncomfortable

I totally agree that these contacts are "extremely" uncomfortable. It is as if there is a film over them and my vision is blurred. The contacts are very dry and I continually have to put artificial tears into my eyes. I too spend a great deal of money including overnight shipping that didn't ship overnight for a product that is totally unsatisfactory.

“not very good on durability”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 15/08/2012

I loved the color it put on my eyes! And I have very dark brown eyes. But light in the sun. I ordered a pair before my second, hoping that those ones were just from a bad company. Because they ripped *IN MY EYE!!!* after the second time using them. Then I got another pair thinking that those wouldn't rip as easy... they did. Do not get them if you want durability.... I loved the color though! so if you have money to blow on contacts every day. You should buy them.

“Dry eyes”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Nevaeh on 28/02/2012

I have been wearing freshlook colorblends for since they first came out. However, the past year they kept getting dry, making my vision blurry(I wonder if this caused my astigmatism). When I blink they move. I tried several different types of eyedrops. I just could not do it anymore. Today I have been wearing Acuvue clear lenses, and I don't feel anything in my eye! I hope Acuvue comes out with color lenses. That would be awesome!!!

“Great colors but poor comfort”

★☆☆☆☆

written by candycan19 on 01/06/2011

I love fresh look colors and always have. They have the best color selection and look real. However, I simply cannot go on wearing them anymore because they are thick and dry my eyes out. They work for about 6 hrs that's it. Sometimes they float on my eyes and it's embarrassing because when talking to people they can see the fake and real eye color because they move when i blink since they get so dry. I do not have dry eye problems. Rewetting drops did not work, and i tried every brand. Unfortunately I had to switch back to Acuvue. It's strange because every other brand of contact works great for me and I have no issues.

“This is just my opinion, but everyone is entitled to...”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 03/06/2010

This is just my opinion, but everyone is entitled to their own. So, here goes... Fresh Look lenses are horrible! All of the Fresh Look lenses are. The colored and the clear. I've been going back and forth to my dr, trying out different styles of Fresh Look lenses for a while, and each one was worse than the last. They are uncomfortable and dry out, literally, almost immediately. My overall eye health is perfectly fine. I do not typically have dry eyes, never have actually. The first time I put the lenses in and the dr took me back to try to read the letters again, I had a harder time reading the letters WITH the lenses, than I did with my naked eye. I couldn't see a thing. My vision was so blurry that I couldn't even make out the largest line of letters! I thought maybe my eyes just needed to get 'used' to them, but the dr thought that my prescription was too low, so he bumped my script up. I went back to the dr a week later because I was having nothing but problems. The 2nd dr I saw thought the script was too high. So, they knocked my script back down. I thought that would fix the problem. I was wrong. I still could not see. I honestly see better without the lenses. My vision is not bad to begin with. My right eye is 20/20 and my left eye is 20/25. I wanted plano (non-prescription strength) colored lenses, so the dr said I might as well get a low script since I'm planning on wearing the lenses anyway. So, now... after having tried all of the Fresh Look lenses, I can honestly say that they are horrible. I take very good care of my lenses. I have OCD and am very hygienic, so my lenses are properly cared for. So it's not an issue of improper care. From the moment I put the lenses in, I can not see. It looks like I am looking under water. No more than 5 minutes after I put them in, my eyes are red and irritated, itchy, and my vision is awful. I take them out, and they are bone dry. I've tried different brands of rewetting drops, with no success. I get about 2 minutes of relief, then I'm back to where I started. I ultimately had to have my dr write me a prescription so that I could get a different brand of lenses elsewhere, my dr only carries Fresh Look in the office. At first, the dr wouldn't write me a script to go elsewhere. I was so adamant about not wanting Fresh Look, that I finally got the manager involved to write me a script. I must add that this is not just my opinion. When I called my dr to schedule a 2nd appointment because I was having so many problems, all 3 of the people I talked to, the receptionist who answered the phone, the contact technician, and the dr I saw on my 2nd visit, all said that my problem was the BRAND of lenses I had, it was not the strength or the size of the lens, but the actual brand. They told me that most people who they give Fresh Looks to, end up back in the office in less than a week complaining about them being uncomfortable, dry, and having blurry vision. I am sorry that this turned out to be such a looong review, but if I can in any way prevent someone else from going through the torture I went through in trying to find a comfortable lens, well... then it was worth the time explaining it all. And I hope it is worth your time reading it. Good luck to everyone!!! :)

“Overall I thought these were a waste of money. All I...”

written by bellydancer43212 on 03/12/2007

Overall I thought these were a waste of money. All I had were negative opinions. I eventually realized that every time I wore these contacts, my eyes got itchy and I ended up with a headache. They did not enhance my eyes they was they were advertised to do so, and I paid considerably more for them than my usual.
