Idris Ginger Beer is not sugar-free but also has artificial sweeteners in it? Weak ginger flavor about as strong as Canada Dry. GOYA is at least twice(more like three times) as strong. I got sucked in by the "Try me if you dare" slogan. Edible but not something I would drink again even if free.
The most disappointing thing is you see the firetruck red can and the warning and you expect to have the hottest Ginger Beer you've ever had. This is about as strong as a mild Reed's brand but not as good.

I am a big ginger beer fan and was looking forward to trying Idris. It was very disappointing. I have never come across the use of artificial sweeteners in a non-diet soda like this before. The drink is sweetened with sugar, Asulfame K and Aspartame. This is not labeled as a diet beverage and I can only guess that it is being done to reduce costs. The aftertaste from the artificial sweeteners really ruins what would otherwise be a good (though not very spicy) ginger beer.

I need to check a potential issue - the review I posted was about Idris Fiery Ginger Beer - this was the only Idris ginger beer I found - but I can't say for sure that this is the only ginger beer Idris makes. Does anyone know if there is a "regular" Idris ginger beer too, or did they just rename the product?
