“Absolutely Lush”

★★★★★

written by Harris-Alt298 on 17/07/2022

I’m a Ribena fan and I have drank it till it comes out my ears. This Vimto is equally as lush with Vitamin C+D as well. I’d say it’s more Lush. I have to have a second bottle In the fridge for when it runs out. And you cannot taste the difference between the No added sugar and normal one, only the No added sugar one had run out up Tesco. I got the last 2L bottle of the normal one, which just shows how popular this is. And this was a supersized Tesco with half an isle dedicated to this stuff. And it is only £2 for 2 Litres. Testes better than the normal fizzy one I can honestly say IMO I even use it as a mixer with ice for cocktails it’s that nice. They could charge more for this it’s that addictive.

“It helps me beat the heat!”

★★★★★

written by on 13/12/2013

Vimto's great strength is that it is not like anything else - so it's not just another Coke clone, blackcurrant cordial etc. Yet, it is also uniquely flavoursome and I always enjoy it. Until I moved to Australia I hadn't had Vimto for about 30 years. But, in the Queensland summer, you get desperate for something to counter the heat and humidity (35C and often above 90%, respectively). Vimto fits the bill perfectly. It's not weak and watery - so you put lots of water in a glassful, it's not too sweet - like most cordials, the flavour is interesting and always pleasant, and you always feel refreshed after a glass. Vimto is more expensive than most cordials, but it's more than worth that bit extra for the flavour and lasts longer.

“I was brought up drinking Vimto. Now live in...”

I was brought up drinking Vimto. Now live in Tipperary Ireland and am unable to purchase Vimto - that quintessential Manchester drink and I miss that taste and flavour.
