we have been going to the Pontins elvis week for 3 years now, and have had a very nice time, yes it could have done with a make over but found it clean,this year it has moved to seacroft just over the road,hope its as good or better.

Pontins in Hemsby (Beach Rd) is alright if you're just taking the kids for a break from being at home. But if it's just to try and relax, there's not much chance. There's always stuff going on. The discos always carry on until the early hours.
Just down the road is the beach. Most of the time the red flags are out so you cant go in the water, but when you do get the chance its really fun.
Back at the centre they have a hire place where you can hire all kinds of stuff. From ironing boards to pedal cars.

Oh dear! Given the present shocking weather conditions I do hope the pool won't be TOO cold when we are there! We are a family of 4 ...(kids are early & mid teens) going for just 4 days, starting on the 9th July, (still during term times-Thank goodness) basic budget apartment so though we are not expecting the Ritz - hopefully it will not only be quieter- but not so noisy/full/crowded/hectic/filthy either!
<br/>I'm sure the beach is nice I've looked at some nice photos on the web and we are planning on having trips out in the car if facilities are too naff and to nearby Yarmouth as well. People say 6 miles others 7miles to GT Yarmouth from Hemsby! Anyone else know the correct mileage??!

what a place just got back with my husband and two year old daughter we all got bad tummy bugs but not surprised, filthy rooms, ants everywhere, smokey club at night, no non smoking areas nothing for under 5s to do, swimming pool cold and very old. sort it out.......
