Big 5

I walked into the store looking for a backpack as I was looking the employees made it easy on me by suggesting ,and giving me their advise.As soon as I got in my car after we left all my family could talk about was the splendid time we had in the store!!!!! The servise was amazing I have never felt that way about any store if been too!!!!! THX a lot u guys are truly amazing!!!!

Will never shop at this store again...buy local versus this "box' store...purchased a pair of rubber boots for $16.99, never used (still have all original tags and barcode) and went to return less than 2 weeks after purchase...was told they are now on sale for $9.99 and since I did not have a receipt they could only give me a gift card for the sale amount...no where on the tag was a sale price listed, nor did I pay the sale price originally...I took the gift card and gave it to the person in line behind me, suggesting after their purchase they may want to consider a local merchant vs. this joke of a store...

Great quality for resonable price. Friendly service at Big 5

I just wanted to make a simple size exchange and Big 5 wouldn't do it without ID. As I was walking out the employee glared at me and my little girl and called me a rude name.

Inexpensive "Humvee" watch lost water resistance after 7 months.

Warranty instructions indicated it could be returned to the merchant.

I did that, and they were willing to refund, but I just took credit against a better watch.

If you want anything sports oriented, Big 5 is the place to go. No matter what it is you are looking for, I would be surprised if they didn't have it. The things there can be quite pricey but they have a new sale every week, so you can get lots of stuff at lower prices.

Including the prices, there is just two things that could be improved upon at Big 5. The customer service is the second. You'll need to know exactly what you're looking for before you enter the store. Don't expect a service representative to help you find whatever it is that your looking for, you have to know what exactly you want, for they don't seem to be able to answer any general questions. You'll need to be very specific. Just know what you want, and you can get it there, at Big 5!!!

Big 5 is a general sports store. They have very good sales prices, a good selection. They are very helpful and have an excellent return/exchange policy. Excellent shopping experience.
