This machine ,Miele XXLS812, is the bees knees... it is lightweight, has lots of tools and they are stored inside the machine.. so no chance of bumping into something and them falling off.. the suction is 2nd to non. I like the fact that you can actually alter the suction power...if i am using it on a rug for instance.. then i have to turn it down otherwise it sucks up the whole rug. I love the bags as there is no dust or mess around it and you just put them in the bin without having to tip it and have dust all over the place. The bags are not cheap but well worth it.. I would recommend this cleaner to everybody.. it is reasonably priced in comparison to a Dyson (which i didnt like - they kept blocking up)... but it is not at the cheaper end of the market either... well worth the investment.. My house has never seemed cleaner and i love using it.

Bought this Miele XXLS812 after the old one was knackered and was quite used to no pick up. So didnt have many expectations. I had known from friends that the Dysons were te biggest waste of money, So having heard nothing about Miele, I bought this one, as I though German machines certainly do give power. WOW I was gobsmacked, this machine is absolutely packed with tools, l and three foots that allow you to clean that expensive solid wood flooring. The carpet has NEVER looked cleaner. I am a huge fan.
