Metallica - Dark Souls is an unofficial documentary about the band and for that reason doesn't actually contain any of Metallica's music on the DVD. But, it's full of great information, containing a very detailed history of the band and all the bandmembers. If you're a long-time fan you may already know everything on here, but will want it to complete your collection. If you've just discovered Metallica, then it's a good way to get acquainted with their history when coupled with their amazing back catalogue for listening enjoyment.
