The Best
The best horror film I have ever seen! I first saw it 14yrs ago and it still terrifies me.
For a low budget the director gets it spot on, the way Michael Myers keeps appearing then disappearing....and the theme tune is one that can never be forgotten! Someone had it on their phone on the bus and I swear everyone shuddered!
It's a classic and one everyone should watch, please don't waste your time watching silly re-makes, this is the first and Halloween H20 is the last, believe me.
Put it this way...at a Halloween party there was a guy dressed as Michael Myers and plenty of people kept their distance, despite the fact that the guy dressed as him was very popular....u decide

John Carpenter's Halloween Is Not To Be Forgotten
John Carpenter's Halloween is not to be forgotten amongst the various sequels, prequels and remakes. With Carpenter's legendary elctro synth score setting the tension on high as Micheal Myers goes on a halloween night killing spree in a white picket street in America. Jamie Leigh Curtis' performance gives her a place alongside her mother for best horror actresses. Donald Plesence is quotetastic as Myers ex-doctor and the seemingly unstoppable Myers is horrifyingly creepy, the dead face mask inspiring numerous other horror directors along the way. Halloween sets the rules for horror films and if you haven't seen it before, turn all the lights off and get set for some truely shocking moments.
